When I opened my eyes I was no longer in my hospital bed. I was in a beautiful, green forest. I could smell the pine trees and feel the moist air around me. For a moment I thought I was actually in the forest. Suddenly I blinding burst of light appeared in front of me, causing me to fall back in shock. Then as soon as the light appeared it was gone. Replacing the light was a beautiful women. Her skin was as pale as moonlight and her hair was as dark as night. She was wearing a beautiful white dress that flowed all around her as she floated in the air. The most shocking and beautiful thing about her was her amazing yellow eyes. It was as if someone had captured a star for each eye. I could feel the power coming off of her in waves. Then all at once it hit me. This was my goddess. My Luna. My Moon Goddess. Quickly I pushed myself to my knees and bowed.

"Luna." I stated still bowing respectfully.

"Rise my child." She said. Her voice was like a joyous melody that I wanted to play forever. Slowly I rose to my feet careful not to look into her eyes. I learned quick at Blood Moon that looking into the eyes of your superior was a sign of challenge and there was no way I was going to challenge the mother of our race. She laughed. "You can look at me child. I will not be offended." Slowly I raised my eyes to meet hers.

"Why am I here?" I asked bluntly. She smiled and slowly sank to the ground before walking to me.

"I have a task for you child. The Alpha of a Blood Moon has joined forces with rouges to take over your mates pack." She explained. I gasped.

"But what am I going to do? I am terrified of the Blood Moon pack! I couldn't face them again. Besides I haven't even shifted yet!" I gushed frantically. The Moon Goddess laughed again and smiled.

"You have not shifted yet because I have not allowed you to. I gave you Adira so she could steer you in the correct direction to your mate. When you awaken she will be gone. You were not strong enough to recieve your real wolf while at blood moon. Soon you will get your real wolf but I must warn you, this wolf is going to be bigger and more powerful than any wolf in the world today. The shift will be ten times more difficult and painful than anyone else's and will last much longer. The shift is a test to see if you can receive your wolf. You must use Sebastian's power as your mate to help you get through the shift. This means you must be strong and except him. I chose him just for you. He is your perfect half and will never hurt you of his own free will." She explained to me.

"How is my wolf different?" I asked confused.

"You will have the last Opekun Volk in existence." She said replied. I racked my brain to remember the Russian translation.

"Guardian Wolf? But I don't understand." I replied.

"If your pack is defeated by Blood Moon and the Rouges, they could take over ever pack in America. Then they could use the combined forces to take over every pack in the world. Wolves deserve freedom. I will not allow my life wolves to live under the tyranny of a king. An alpha protects while a king commands. Remember the legend of Opekun Volk and you will understand." She answered before coming closer to me. When she stopped she took my face in her hands. Now Arina you must wake up to your new life. I've already taken the liberty of healing your body so you will be strong. Now my guardian child, awaken." She said before kissing my forehead. When her lips made contact with my skin I was ripped away from her and pulled into a brief darkness.
