You sat on a bench waiting for your best friend Jeff Atkins to finish his baseball practice. The whole time you sat there on your phone you felt a pair of eyes on you. You glanced up from your phone to see Monty staring at you smirking.
"Hey babygirl, come over here for a second" you ignored him, rolling your eyes and focusing back on your phone. Monty banged on the gate with his bat trying to gain your attention but it wasn't working very well. "C'mon baby, don't be like that" you rolled your eyes once more but decided to see what he wanted so you walked up to him. His smirk grew once you were stood in front of him.
"What Cruz?" You asked unamused. "You, me tomorrow night eight o'clock" you chuckled and shook your head, "Nice try. How about you try not being an asshole and maybe, just maybe I'll consider going out with you."
After your words left your lips you saw Jeff walking to his car and you trailed behind him leaving Montgomery with the biggest smile on his face.
