Chapter 19

**Carter's POV**

I woke up at 6 a.m. to shower and get ready for the day. I stripped my clothes off then got into the shower. I washed my hair and my body then got out.

"Dang it!" I said under my breath. I forgot my towel

I slowly walked out of the bathroom, and almost made it to my towel

"Dang babe" Ryan said smirking from the bed

I gasped and covered myself with the towel "I- um, kinda forgot it. I thought you'd still be sleeping"

Ryan chuckled and came over to me and placed a soft kiss on my lips "how long until you have to be at work?"

"Like an hour. Why?"

"Well...." Ryan said getting my towel out of my hands and let it pool at my feet

"Ryan! No!" I said picking up the towel

"Are you sure?" He asked pulling me closer to him by my hips

"Yes! I still need to do my hair and makeup!"

Ryan sighed in defeat "I want you to meet the rest of the guys"

"Like the guys in your band?"

Ryan chuckled as he watched me get ready "yeah, I mean you've already met Ricky"

"He's sweet, and I love Jamie! Her and I are gonna get coffee this weekend"

"The other guys have girlfriends too you know"

"Are they teachers too?"

"No, Gaia is a make up artist and Kylie performs with us."

"Oh, so I won't fit in with them at all then"

"Come on, Carter. Who cares. I'm with you because of who you are. Even if you don't fit in with them you'll always have Jamie"

I smiled a little "true"

I finished getting ready then I went to work

"Well, well, well. Look who's late" Tayler said as I walked in

"Sorry, traffic was awful this morning"

"So, how was your weekend?" Kelly asked

"Good. We didn't do much"

"We? So you do everything with Ryan now?"

"No, we went to a movie on Friday, then on Saturday he went to band practice all day and I worked on work stuff then yesterday I went and got my nails done"

"So, nothing intesting happened?" Kelly asked

"No, why?"

Tayler and Kelly smirked at one another and Tayler handed me her phone open to her Facebook app

Carter McKinney is now in a relationahip with Ryan Sitkowski

"I didn't know he'd change it so quick. He bearly asked me Friday. We haven't told anyone yet"

Tayler took her phone back "I'm happy for you. Ryan seems sweet"

"He's amazing. I've always seen something in him that's special"

"Well, you know we gotta meet him soon" Kelly said

"You will meet him very soon. I promise"

"Good, now let's go get our kids"

I grabbed what I needed them headed out to start my day.

"Miss. Carter, can I speak with you for a moment?" The principle asked

I nodded and walked into her office

"Now I know you love your position here, but there's a spot avalible in Pittsburgh. It's a preschool teacher as well and they only want the best. So, if you want it. The job is yours"

Soo, Carter got a huge new job offer. Do you think she'll take it? Or will she stay in Scranton with Ryan?
