Its been a few weeks since I called my wedding off. I've been staying with Ryan and life is good.
"Carter, we're gonna head out, ok?"
I nodded "ok, bye Kelly, bye Tayler! Have a nice weekend!!"
I sat at my desk finishing some work then heading to Ryan's
"Sup?" Ryan asked when I walked in
I laughed "you're a dork"
"Yeah, but I'm also cute and I play guitar so...."
I rolled my eyes "that doesn't help the fact that you're a dork"
Ryan laughed "wanna go see a movie? I don't wanna stay in tonight"
"Sure, but I wanna change first"
"Ok, take your time"
I went upstairs picked my outfit, touched up my makeup then I went back downstairs
"I'm ready"

"You look nice" Ryan said
"Oh, thanks. Just an old sweater"
"Well, you make it look brand new"
I blushed "are you ready?"
"Yeah, I am."
We went in Ryan's car and Ryan of course drove.
"Wanna see that new action movie?" Ryan asked
"Sure, that sounds nice."
Ryan and I walked into the theater and Ryan inisited he pay for my ticket, and my water, AND my candy.
"Here" I said hanging him a twenty dollar bill
"I don't want that."
"Ugh, Ryan!" I said following him into the theater and sitting down
"Its cold in here" I said wrapping my sweater around me
Ryan didn't even say a word. He just wrapped his arms around me. I laid my head on his shoulder as we watched the movie. Ryan and I finished the movie then went back to the house
"I'm so tired." I said sitting on the couch next to cupcake
"Me too. The movie was good though"
"Yeah, I agree"
Ryan sat next to me and turned the TV on to some random show.
"Hey Ryan?"
"Yeah" Ryan said not looking away from the TV
I don't know what came over me, but I straddled Ryan on the couch I grabbed his face and crashed my lips into his. Ryan's hand craddled my face as we kissed. This kiss just as magical as the first.
Ryan pulled away breathless "woah"
"I know" I sat back down on the couch and watched the show Ryan had on
"Look, I know you just got out of an awful relationship but I have strong feelings for you, Carter. I don't like you as just a friend. I like you as more than a friend."
I held his hand in mine "I feel the same way"
"Really?"
"Yes, really"
Ryan smiled and kissed me "will you please be my girlfriend?"
"Well since you asked nicely, yes"
Ryan kissed me again "you're cute"
I blushed "I can't believe your my boyfriend. I can hug you and kiss you and hold your hand"
"I can't believe I'm dating a hot teacher"
"Oh my gosh! Don't tell me that's some kind of fantasy your little pervy mind has thought up"
Ryan laughed and kissed me again, and for the first time in a while everything felt right.
