I pulled up to work and walked into the school and went to my classroom. I work as a preschool teacher, and I love it. It keeps me busy. I work with kids with special needs so my job is that much more stressful. I have associates in my classroom to help out and without them I would probably go crazy.
"Morning Carter! I brought you and Tayler some coffee" one of my associates Kelly said
"Oh, awesome! We'll need it"
"Are you ready for the first day of school?"
"Yes, I am. I just hope our kids are ready"
"Good morning!" Tayler sang as she walked into the room
"Oh my goodness. Let me guess the concert was good?" I asked laughing
"More like amazing! I can't believe y'all don't like metal music." She said
Tayler was into metal music, Kelly was into anything mainstream, and I listened to everything but metal isn't my favorite.
"I'm taking you both next time they play around here"
I just laughed "lets get this year started"
**Ryan's POV**
We just got home a week ago from tour and I'm still trying to settle in.
"Is Jamie already at work?" I asked Ricky entering our kitchen
"Yeah, what's your plan for today?"
"Just mess around on my guitar a little bit. Maybe go and buy some new strings."
"Did you ever record the riffs you were playing on tour?"
"Not yet I wanted to buy new strings first"
Ricky nodded "have you talked to that girl you met on tour since we've been home"
"No, she isn't really my type."
"I wish you luck with the whole dating thing. It can be a mess sometimes"
"You got that right"
**Carter's POV**
"First day of school down! Now only like 100 more to go" Kelly said as we walked out of the school
"Isn't it closer to 200 days left?" Tayler asked
I laughed "yeah, about 180 more"
"Well, we'll make it though. Wanna join us for dinner?" Tayler asked
"I'm just gonna go to the store and make me something. I've eaten out way to much lately"
"Ok. We'll see you later!"
Kelly and Tayler walked off to their cars. I got into my car and drove to the grocery store. I got a cart and went to look at the vegetables. I pushed my cart where it was out of the way but I accidentally ran into the person standing in front of me
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" I said
"Oh its fine. I wasn't paying attention anyway" he said "I see you're looking for some squash too?"
"Uh, yeah. It's one of my favorites" I said pushing my glasses up my nose
"Mine too."
I smiled at him. He wasn't bad looking. He had a beard, a nose ring and a baseball cap on. He wore a long sleeve black shirt with black jeans.
"Oh, I'm Ryan by the way" he said holding out his hand
"I'm Carter. Nice to meet you" I said shaking his hand
First chapter done!!!! I'm going to try to add a bunch of pictures and stuff in this one to make it more interesting!!!
