I arrive at the the hospital just as the police pull out Kate's brother Bryan out of the hospital , oh no this can't be good. Bryan is a full on druggo, so if Kates involved this will probably be bad. I ask a nurse for Kate's room then go straight there with no delays, I walk in to find Kate unconcious I break down next to her and cry my heart I can't lose anyone else it just isn't fair, and I'm sick of it,
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't think anyone was in here" a nurse that walks in says
"Its okay, what happened to her?" I ask nodding my head to Kate
"Car crash, her brother was driving while he was high"
"God I hate him, always have"
"You know him?"
"Of course Kates my best friend and I spent a lot of time at her house so I met Bryan a few times, he was always a jerk though"
"Oh, really"
"Yeah and I knew he was into drugs but I never thought it was so bad someone would get hurt, but I should know now that I shouldn't keep believing know one else will get hurt or nothing else bad will happen, but I'm always wrong"
"You lost family?"
"Yeah"
"Well Kates about to have an X-ray so, I'm sorry but you'll need to leave"
"Thats okay I need to go get some rest anyway"
"Okay, goodbye" I stand up and walk out.
I stand in front of the door still considering whether I should knock or just go home, but I don't want to be in my house alone so I knock on the door, Hunter answers and frowns at me ,
"Ivy? What are you doing here?"
"I didn't want to be home alone and you were the first person I thought of after I left the hospital"
"Oh, well come in my parents are out, I was just about to order pizza"
"Okay".
