"Come on Ivy! Your 18 and you've still never had a date," It's the holiday and my friend, Kate, is giving me another lecture about the fact I've never had a boyfriend in my life. But I really don't mind, the nicest guy I've ever met is Charlie, but I've only ever seen him as my best friend. He's always been there for me.

Okay, back to the present.

"I'm sure there's some nice guy in this school," She goes on.

"Yeah, but none that seem to notice me," I replied.

"You just need to show them how hot you are and you need to go to more party's," She says.

"But I don't want boys to love me because of what I look like... oh shoot gotta go. I'm going to Charlie's tonight. Bye!" I run off out the doors and grab my bike off the rack. It's  not far to Charlie's house, so I ride there tonight.

"What took you so long?" Charlie yells as I run upstairs to his room.

"Sorry, Kate gave me another lecture," I say as I plonk onto his bed.

"Jeez how do you manage it?" he laughs.

"I don't know, but I'm hungry. What's for tea?"
