Ryder's POV
I hope Ivy lives, I don't really know whats going on but I know it's important and nothing I do can cheer Chase up, I've come to the conclusion that Chase likes Ivy more than just as a friend, it all adds up, and from the sad, depressing look on his face she's important to him and he doesn't want to lose her.
Chase's POV
"Chase, wake up"
I feel Ryder shaking my shoulder and my eyes snap open
"Ivy, OK, dead?, Alive?, shot shoulder, Ambliance"
Ryder bursts out laughing
"Its pronounced Ambulance, and thats why you need to wake up we're aloud to see Ivy"
I stand up quickly and look around seeing Charlie and Kate also standing up and speaking to a nurse.
Ivy lays on the hospital bed silently and her skin seems white with her dark hair framing her face, she looks as beautiful as ever, then I remember how she might die. Kate and Charlie are on either side of her hugging her and crying, I force myself to breathe and carefully take a few steps forward so that I'm beside Kate and stare down at Ivy's face and realise that this isn't right the heart moniter should be zig zagging,
"Hey guys",
"What" Charlie replies bitterly
"shouldn't that heart moniter be doing those weird zig zag things"
his head flings up and looks toward the heart moniter and his eyes widen
"holy shit"
he instantly jumps up and runs to get a nurse and Kate starts muttering a bunch of swear words
"Ivy don't die, I need you, you won't die, you can't die" tears start rolling down my cheeks as I blabber on
When a the nurse arrives, he starts laughing, then a miracle happens Ivy sits up slowly and starts laughing to and soon everyone in the room is laughing, except me.
"Whats going on" I ask trying to steady my voice
"We tricked you, and it was hilarious" Charlie manages through breaths
"Thats not funny thats cruel," I sigh and shake my head "But I'm glad your Ok Ivy"
I walk over and hug her tight
"Ow, little less tight, just because I'm not dead doesn't mean I'm not in pain"
"sorry, sorry I'm just so glad your Ok"
"yeah I know"
"do you know when you can leave?"
"yep, I'm leaving later tonight can one of you guys take me home"
"I will" I say as soon she asks
"yeah I'm fine with that I have a family dinner" says Kate
"and my aunty is coming down"
I look at Ryder to see if his OK with this because we are after all using his car because his the one that drove me here
"I suppose I might have room for one more person"
"Thanks"
a nurse comes in with a tray of food and sets it down in front of Ivy and walks out, Ivy looks down in disgust
"Damn hospital food, If one one of you guys get me some real food I'll be your best friend forever"
"Ok brb" says kate and Ryder and Charlie follow her out of the room leaving Ivy and I alone.
