Nostalgic,
I halt -
just because.
The music too overwhelming
sending me back to a past
long hidden
in an empty crevice
I call long forgotten.
The lyrics too straightforward
chasing my thoughts to a yesterday
long repressed
masked in a metaphor
I call lost love.
Nostalgic,
I cried without the tears,
yet again -
just because.
