in a hold of a second.

I feel you
as I look into the mirror
after your soul reaches mine -
in a hold of a second.

I hear you
as I look into the mirror
after our thoughts speak up -
in a hold of a second.

I know you (again)
as I look into the mirror
after memories flash backwards -
in a hold of a second.

And I could not
unsee, unfeel, unhear, unknow us
in a time I taste again
as I look into your eyes -
in a second. #
