[J-james!]

Upon hearing that voice, my hand balled into a fist as it trembled in anger. She sounded weak. A terrible scene played on my mind and it somehow lingered my mind until a unfamiliar voice appeared.

An eerie laugh smothered the silence. Slowly I regained when I got familiar with it. Yet I can't tell who.

"Who the fuck are you?!" exclaimed my outrage, brushing my hair back due to frustration.

[Calm down. She's doing alright.]

[Ahh!]

"Fuck! Don't touch her! Don't fvcking lay your hands on her! Or else killing you wouldn't be enough! Tell me who the hell are you! And where is she?!"

He laughed and didn't answered.

"Answer me or you're fvcking dead!"

Another chuckle filled the short period of silence. Until he said, [Calm yourself down. We won't understand each other if you keep on cussing and shouting.]

Fvck this guy. "I'm not making jokes with you. Tell me, who are you!"

[You don't need to know. I answered the call to tell you where we are. If you want to see her alive, make sure to meet me at the address I will send you. Alone. Once you break our deal, you might see her dead!]

"Fvck you!"

Rage ran through my veins and a sudden idea of throwing my phone came up as he let out a laugh.

"Give her the phone."

[Not a problem at all.]

[James?] I was about to utter a word as though my breath has come to an end, but threw a heavy sigh. [P-please listen to me. Don't—]

"No!"

[Please... D-don't come here.]

"Fvck! Janelle! I won't! I'll get you out of there!"

[James, no *sobs*]

"Janelle—"

The line died.

I cussed and quickly ran to where I have parked the car. In a blink of an eye, the engine was already moving and my hands clutching the steering wheel. Not knowing where to go.
