"She was a great lady. She was always loving everyone and being that nice person we all know and love."
Some lady that lives in the town goes on and about how great Aunt Melody was, but she doesn't have to tell me, I know.

I sit in the back of the church with Lucas, he holds my hand tightly. He can clearly see that I'm upset so he looks at me and squeezes my hand twice. "Can we get out of here?" I say in his ear. "I thought I could sit through this funeral and be strong but right now I'm feeling pretty shitty."

"Of course we can. If we can make it." As the woman continue to sob in the mic, Lucas and I get up from our back pew and walk out. I look to see Zay sitting on the step.

"Zay you came out too?" I say

"Yeah. Preggers over here needed to barf." He says as he gets up and we start to walk away from the chapel.

"Shhh. Don't say it so loud! What if someone hears you?!" She says

"What it's the truth!" He says

"I know, I know. It's just nice, you know? To not be treated like I'm pregnant by an adult for a little while. Not be looked at funny." She says

"Who was looking at you funny? I'll punch their face in. No one looks at my sister funny." Lucas says

"Yeah who Riles? Why didn't you ever tell me??" I say

"But there's nothing I can do about it!" Riley yells. Maya, Lucas and Zay sit still and look at her intensely. "Like when I went to the doctor, he looked at me like, you're only 17? The nurse tried to give me a shot for STDs!" Riley yells "My parents try not to look at me differently, but I can tell they do. They just can't believe their little baby is having a little baby." Riley cries "I really don't want this to happen. I'm not ready. I'm one and a half months pregnant and everyone is treating me like I'm already about to give birth. My parents want me to leave school and start homeschooling!"

"Aw Honey." I say and hug her as she cries

"I'm sorry Riley." Zay says and wraps his arms around us.

Lucas says nothing and just hugs us as well.

"Thanks for being here guys. It really means a lot to me. Especially since you guys are the only people that treat me like me. Other than Auggie." She chuckles a little. "Charlie called me last week."

"He has no right to even be talking to you Riley!!" I say

"I know." Riley says

"Does he know? About the baby?" Zay asks

"He doesn't. Not yet. But he will. I don't want this baby to grow up without a father."

"Riley, this baby will have a lot of father figures! Mr. Mathews and Mr. Hunter." Lucas says

"I know, but I don't want this baby to ever have robbed curious about who their father is. I don't want him or her leaving home, missing, to look for their dad!" Riley says

"You're actually gonna let that monster see your kid?!" I say furious "Riley! He doesn't deserve it! He should be in jail right now! He took advantage of you!" I yell

"It's my baby Maya! I can do what I want with him or her! I'm not saying Charlie and I are going to be a happy family with this baby on the way, but everyone deserves a second chance. How would you feel if you didn't get to see your baby ever!" Riley says "He should at least get to talk to the baby. But he's never taking my baby from me."

"Good. But I'm telling you. I have a bad feeling about that Charlie Gardener." I say

"It's time to eat guys." Katy says

"Oou what's for dinner?" Zay says grabbing a plate

"Yeahh." Riley says too picking up a piece of chicken.

"Hands off preggers I wanted that piece." He says

"I'm pregnant me eating means more!" Riley says

As Zay and Riley fight about who eating is more important, Lucas summons me outside.

Lucas sits on a rocking chair and pulls me on his lap.

"Oh my beautiful blonde beauty." He says and kisses my cheek rocking back and forth.

"Huckleberry..." I say and smile then kiss his lips. He deepens it. We start to kiss and I turn completely around to face him. He starts to put his tongue in my mouth and we continue to kiss. I put my hands in his hair and his hands are on my waist. I smile against his lips. "Huckleberry-"

"I love you short stack." He says and pulls me closer

"I love you more." I say

"Maya?"

"Yeah."

"I wanna marry you."

"What? Are you serious?"

"Yes I'm serious. We're in senior year. When we finish high school we should do it. We should take the chance. I love you Maya Penelope Hart."

"Let's do it." I say

"Really? Yay." He cheeses at me. "But don't worry, I'll actually propose later, with a ring and a big romantic gesture. I promise. Because you mean the world to me."

"More like just let us improvise." Zay says

"Shut up. Before you only have one line in the next chapter." Baby says

"Yeah." Smackle says with pizza in her hand

"When are we gonna be back?" Farkle says "I like being on vacation but I miss the readers."

"You'll be back soon I promise. Hint hint" Baby says

"What about me?" Josh says with a smile

"We'll see." Baby glares

"Don't do it Baby." Lucas says. "I might just kill him." He grits his teeth.

"Well I can arrange that." Baby says with a slick grin

"Yeahhhh. Brutally." Zay says

"Baby, please no." Josh says
