(Mount Kobushi, Japan, 2 years ago....)
A blue R34 drove on the pass of Mount Kobushi. The young teen driven like a rookie, doing weak drifts. He was oversteering a lot in the corners.
"Damn it this sucks!" He yelled in frustration. Then his side view mirror began to flicker. Another car was tailgating him from behind.
"An Evo 5?!" He glanced at the side mirror. "That car is pretty old and rare!"
He accelerated and tried to drift into a corner but the green Evo 5 passed him drifting.
"Damn who was that guy?!" The R34 driver wailed.
Suddenly, the Evo 5 began to turn a 180° degrees. It's hood facing the
GT-R who's driver was shocked. But then, it began drifting around a
S-bend hairpin behind it.
"Amazing......." The blue hair gasped. "I have got to get that guy to teach me some moves!"
He saw the Lan-Evo speeding off. "Hey, Wait!" The R34 sped up. "I wanna learn from you!"
Both cars zoomed down the mountain.

JL snaps out of his daydream. "Damn, why I'm I spacing out in such an important event like this?!"
He got into the starting line with the black FD behind him. The second run was about to start.
