Title: Disciple

Matthew 16:24
"Sinabi ni Jesus sa kanyang mga alagad, "Kung ibig ninumang sumunod sa akin, pasanin ang kanyang krus at sumunod sakin."

Disciple - priest, helper, follower, assistant, servant, pupil

• Bago ka maging magaling na leader, kailangan naging magaling ka ding follower.

• Madaling maging kristiyano pero mahirap magpakakristiyano.

HOW TO BE A GOOD DISCIPLE

1. Training Men
• must be trained
• magtatagumpay ka kung ikaw ay trained
• Training makes the difference. Those trained succeed;
the untrained fail.

2 Timothy 4:7
"Puspusan akong lumaban sa paligsahan. Nanatili akong tapat sa pananampalataya."

2. Fallen Giants
• Samson and Gideon (mighty men)
• David (a fearless king)
• Satan (chief enemy)

Proverbs 31:30
"Mandaraya ang pang akit at kumukupas ang ganda ngunit ang babaing may takot kay Yahweh ay pupurihin ng balana."

3. Blessings and battle
• A twin brothers in Christian life and the greater the
blessings the greater is the battle.
• Imposibleng magtagumpay ka sa labanan kung wala
tayo sa labanan
• Everyday is a battle day.

4. Hard times
• The Israelites greatly multiplied and spread when they
were oppressed

Exodus 1:12

• The early church spread out from Jerusalem because
of persecution (Acts 8:1-8)
• The macedonian christian excelled in their generosity
in the midst of the most severe trial and extreme
poverty.

2 Corinthians 8:2-3
"Dumanas sila ng matinding kahirapan at ito'y isang mahigpit na pagsubok sa kanila. At sa kabila ng kanilang paghihikahos, masayang masaya pa rin sila at bukas ang palad sa pagbibigay. Sila'y kusang loob na nag abuloy hindi lamang ayon sa kanilang kaya, kundi higit pa..."

5. Life Goals
• What are you living for?
• What are you here for?
• What are your goals in life?
• For life without purpose is meaningless

Apostle Paul testifies, "FOR ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST AND TO DIE IS GAIN." (Philippians 1:21)

6. Straight to the goal
• Many christians today are off-tangent. No purpose, no
plans. They live for life in circle. Walang upgraded,
walang tinatakbong magandang pananaw.

1 Corinthians 9:26

Conclusion

Roman 8:28
"We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to his purpose."
