H&Q-29

1. Allah (swt) told Musa (as) to be nice to Firaun. Firaun tried to kill Musa (as) when he was just a baby. Firaun killed a thousand babies every year. He called himself God. There’s so many reasons to hate Firaun and Allah (swt) says when you go to him, be nice to him. If you have to be nice to Firaun, what about your wife? What about your husband? your children? your parents? your siblings? your cousins? your uncle? These are the people that make us angry. Family makes you really angry, I know. But these are the people that deserve the softest responses from us. We have to change the way we behave with them

2. When you find yourself in a position to help someone, be happy because Allah is answering that person’s prayer through you

3. Your sin is not greater than Allah’s mercy

4. When you see someone who is not as religious, remember that you were once on the edge of the fire, and it was Allah (swt)’s favor upon you to guide you. Arrogance will wipe away any goodness from the transformation

5. If someone corrects you, and you feel offended, then YOU have an EGO problem

6. If you want to fight your impatience, learn to become grateful

7. When you’re going through something hard and you start wondering where Allah (SWT) is, just remember, the Teacher is always quiet during a test

8. Being grateful is not just an act of saying Alhamdulillah. Being grateful is an attitude. It’s a lifestyle. It’s a way of thinking. You’re constantly grateful

9. We live in a society where we wake up our kids for school but not for fajr

10. When someone isn’t smart enough to express their frustration, they use dirty words. Those are words that describe a lack of intelligence. Smart people don’t use those kind of dirty words, because they find it an insult to their intelligence.

11. Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.

12. "I pray" is better than "i wish".

13. Dont be worried about delay in your success as compared to others because construction of a wonder takes more time than an ordinary design.

14. When your past calls, dont answer. It has nothing new to say.

15. The tongue has no bones but is strong enough to break a heart, so be careful with your words.

16. Dont expect others to understand whats wrong when you haven't spoke up. Say whats wrong.

17. But they plan and Allah plans, and Allah is the best of planners. ~ Holy Quran

18. The soul will never become pious and purified except through undergoing afflictions. It is the same as gold that can never be pure except after removing all the base metals in it.

19. The fire didnt burn Abraham,

The knife didnt slaughter Ismael,

The sea didnt drown Musa (Moses)

The whale didnt eat Yunus.

"Say: Nothing will befall us, except what Allah has decreed for us." ~ Holy Quran 9:51

20. The trouble is, you think, you have time.
