39. Al-Muqeet The Maintainer, The Nourisher

H&Q-57

1.The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "A believer may achieve the status of one who regularly fasts (for religious reasons) during the day and spends the night in prayer, through his good manners." [Riyadh-us-Salaheen:629]

2. Pray to Allaah and be confident of a response.

3. Cheer people up, do not put them off.

4. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "No companion of mine should tell me anything bad about another person. For when I meet you, I would like my heart to be clean (unbiased.)" [Riyadh-us-Salaheen:1539]

5. Make things easy for people, not difficult.

6. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "(God) has revealed to me that you should adopt humility so that no one oppresses another." [Riyadh-us-Salaheen:1589]

7. If Allaah gives you wealth, let the blessing of Allah be seen on you.

(this doesn't mean you show off or waste ur money unnecessarily)

8. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "Avoid jealousy, for it destroys good deeds as fire destroys wood." [Riyadh-us-Salaheen:1569]

9. If one with whose religion and character you are pleased comes to you (to seek your daughter's hand in marriage), then marry (your daughter) to him.

10. If you feel uncomfortable about something, then leave it alone.

11. Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

"We do not see for those who love one another anything like marriage."

[Sunan Ibn Majah, Book of Marriage, Number 1847, Sahih]

12. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Verily, Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection: Where are those who love each other for the sake of My glory? Today, I will shelter them in My shade; a Day when there is no shade but Mine."

[Sahih Muslim, Book 32, Number 6225]

13. "Among His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, in order to have tranquility with them and He put love and mercy between your (hearts) : verily in that are signs for those who reflect."

[Surah Ar-Rum 30:21]

14. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

Verily, if Allah has loved a servant, He calls Gabriel, upon him be peace, and says, "I love so-and-so, therefore love him." So Gabriel loves him. Then he calls out in heaven, saying, "Allah loves so-and-so, therefore love him." And the inhabitants of heaven love him. Then acceptance is established for him on earth. And if Allah has disliked a servant, He calls Gabriel and says, "I dislike so-and-so, therefore dislike him." So Gabriel dislikes him. Then Gabriel calls out to the inhabitants of heaven, "Allah dislikes so-and-so, therefore dislike him." So they dislike him, and abhorrence is established for him on earth.

15. Narrated by Abu Huraira

A man came to Allah's Apostle and said,

"O Allah's Apostle! Who is more entitled to be treated with the best companionship by me?"

The Prophet said,

"Your mother."

The man said.

"Who is next?"

The Prophet said,

"Your mother."

The man further said,

"Who is next?"

The Prophet said,

"Your mother."

The man asked for the fourth time,

"Who is next?"

The Prophet said,

"Your father. "

[Volume 8, Book 73, Number 2]

16. Narrated by Uqba:

One day the Prophet went out and offered the (funeral) prayer for the people (i.e. martyrs) of Uhud as he used to offer a funeral prayer for any dead person, and then (after returning) he ascended the pulpit and said,

"I am your predecessor before you, and I am a witness upon you, and I am looking at my Tank just now, and I have been given the keys of the treasures of the world (or the keys of the world). By Allah, I am not afraid that you will worship others besides Allah after me, but I am afraid that you will compete with each other for (the pleasures of) this world."

[Sahih Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 411]

17. Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind):

"If you (really) love Allāh then follow me (i.e. accept Islāmic Monotheism, follow the Qur'ān and the Sunnah), Allāh will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allāh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

(Aali Imran 3:31)

18. "Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the All-Mighty, All-Wise."

[Surah Al-Hadid 57:1]

19. "His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, It is He Who gives life and causes death; and He is Able to do all things."

[Surah Al-Hadid 57:2]

20. "He is the First and the Last, the Most High and the Most Near. And He is the All-Knower of every thing."
