Chapter 26
I walked in and looked around, I spotted Kristen and Alison sitting at the bar, I made my way over to them, but not before the bitch -Jessica- stopped me.
'Can, I help you?' I asked coldly.
'Can you?' she replied.
'Should you even get here? Did someone invite you?' I asked.
'Whatever,' she shrugged.
'Why are you being such a bitch?' I asked.
'I'm sorry? I'm the bitch? No way. Wait til I kick your ass at soccer grand finale's, I'm going to get that captainship.' She breathed to me.
I pushed her aside and made my way to my friends. They raised their eyebrows.
'Don't even ask,' I said, before getting a beer.
'Hey babe,' Kevin gave me a kiss.
'Hey,' I said as he took a drink.
'How you doing?' he asked.
'Fine,' I replied nonchalantly.
'Bitch problems,' Kristen said knowingly.
'Gotcha,' Kevin said, 'so you wanna dance?'
'Nah, not at the moment,' I replied.
'Ok, I'm going to find some of the guys,' Kevin left.
I sat around with Kristen and Alison; we talked, drank, laughed, and talked a bit more. We were just laughing at William- Alison's boyfriend- when Kristen's laugh fell short.
'Tell me I'm not seeing this,' she exclaimed.
