When the servant came back five minutes later, he informed Heart and you that you would have to wait for an hour. After giving this information, he exited the room and attended to his usual work around the estate. You were just thankful that you wouldn't have to wait for a day or longer. An hour to you didn't sound long in the slightest. Besides, you still had a chance to beat Heart at the game of cards before you. So far, you were in the lead, but in war that could change rather easily with the right card.

Thus, the two of you continued to play the card game until you were called by the Queen. During this time span, though, the game was stuck in a tie. Likewise, the brothers began to switch places again. You took the cards from them and set them facedown before keeping the brothers from falling off the bed. When the coughing stopped, you removed your hands from their upper arms and relaxed again.

"Ah, Miss ____, it's good to be awake again. I'm getting quite tired of this constant changing, though," he stated with a slight frown on his lips before he picked up Heart's hand of cards.

"I'd imagine it would get annoying pretty quickly. I must say that I've never seen you in so much blue, though. It's quite ...odd."

Glancing down at what he was wearing, Diamond sighed softly before setting the cards back down. Getting off the bed, he went over to the left side of the bed and picked up their pack. You were going to tell him where it was, but you forgot that each brother knew what was happening to the other despite them being in a sleep-like state. Thus, he mentioned that he would be in the bathroom for a few minutes. Just nodding in reply, you waited for him to come back out.

As you were waiting, you retrieved your pack and pulled out your daggers. Strapping the belt they were in around your hips, you got off the bed and headed over to one of the curtains by the bed. Pulling it back, you were finally met by the inner courtyard of the estate. Dirt paths came from the four corners of the courtyard and met at the center. In the center was a pink marble fountain. This fountain was in the shape of a butterfly faerie. She was holding a water lily, which sent delicate streams of water into the base of the fountain. As for the rest of the courtyard, it was filled with dark pink tulips and orange roses. The Queen here certainly liked the color scheme of blue, orange and pink. Still, it was rather peaceful to look upon the sweet smelling courtyard.

Feeling arms wrap around your waist from behind, you nearly jumped before realizing who it was. You did notice that the brothers' new form had their nails freshly painted. Instead of the pattern that was present during the wedding, their nails were now coated in a red background with golden jeweled stripes. No wonder, Diamond took awhile in the bathroom. Regardless, you pried his hands off of you before turning to face him. He now wore a grey button-up, black pants and red dress shoes with a two-inch heel. Likewise, their saber was strapped to his left side.

"Still your same old self, I was hoping you would change slightly," Diamond muttered while shaking his head in mock disappointment.

Rolling your eyes at his comment, you were about to respond, but you saw that the servant had returned. He motioned for the two of you to follow him, meaning that the hour had already gone by. Going past Diamond, you went over to your pack and slung it over your right shoulder. As for Diamond, he summoned the cards to his hands and put them back in their case before dropping them into the pack. Afterwards, he picked up the backpack and put it on his shoulders. With both of you now having your possessions, you trailed behind the servant.

On the way to the Queen, the halls looked the same as the rest. Dark pink marble and blue cotton curtains filled your vision. Occasionally, you would see the pale orange curtains, which meant a room was behind the soft fabric.
Granted, you didn't stop in front of any of these. Instead, the servant halted his movement in front of large linen magenta curtains. He pulled them back and signaled for you two to go inside. Doing as he instructed, Diamond and you proceeded into the rather large room behind the fabric.

The pink marble decorated the large gazebo's floor, walls and ceiling while strings of dark pink roses cascaded down from the ceiling in various places. Up ahead of you were two throne chairs made out of the pink marble. Blue cushions, on the base and back of the chairs, added comfort for the rulers of the city. These chairs stood on a raised platform decorated with orange and blue lobelias. Behind the chairs were pale orange curtains, which presumably led to their room.

Sitting in the right chair was the Queen. Long dark brown locks framed her face beautifully while reddish-orange eyes, the color of autumn leaves, shone with youth. Red and orange transparent fabric petals, dark brown branches and glittered leaves decorated the crown upon her head. Her lips shimmered with an orange gloss, adding to the astounding beauty of the woman. Moreover, a delicate necklace with white rose petals hung from her neck. To complete her look, a dress, the same color as her eyes, flowed down her body, adding a womanly sense of grace to her person.

Beside her in the left chair, a man, with shoulder length dark brown hair, sat. His dark brown eyes held disinterest and arrogance while a crown made out of orange roses sat atop his head. An orange peasant shirt rested on his torso while a vibrant red cape sat atop his shoulders. Chocolate brown pants covered his legs and were accompanied by black cuffed boots. Overall, the two of them together appeared to look like the human personifications of autumn.

Standing before the two seemingly perfect individuals, you felt somewhat underdressed in your button-up, jeans and flip-flops. Regardless, you had your stunning daggers at your side, and they provided you with much needed confidence. Thus, you rested the palms of your hands on the tops of your daggers. Regardless, of these individuals' beauty, they had caused enough trouble for the brothers and you with their laws. With this in mind, you merely bowed your head slightly before locking your gaze with the Queen. Diamond dipped his head a bit as well before staring at the two rulers.

"Thank you for meeting with us, your highness," you addressed the woman, hoping you had done so properly so as to avoid any meaningless conflict.

"The pleasure is all mine. Meeting outsiders is a rarity for me. I believe you two are the first now that I think about it. Some of my ancestors have met outsiders, but again they are oddities. Now, as is custom, I shall say the proper words of greeting," she answered in a soft mezzo-soprano voice. Standing from her chair, revealing her height to be about five feet and ten inches, she announced, "I, Queen Octavia Felisstana, welcome you to my beautiful flower city of Rinned."

Providing a slight nod of the head to the tall woman, you waited to hear if she would say anything else.

"Now, do please enjoy yourselves here. With that, I bid you farewell," she continued before heading back to her throne and sitting down.

To say you were shocked and pissed off, at how short your meeting was, would be an understatement. There was no way you would allow the meeting to end now. Especially, not after all the trouble the brothers and you went through to get past the city and estate gates. Taking a few steps forward, as you saw the servant pull the curtains back, you held your gaze with the Queen.

"Pardon me, your highness, but I must ask you a question," you voiced with only confidence in your voice.

"If you wish to do so, you must make a separate appointment with me, as is customary."

"I'm sorry, but that's not going to work for me. I followed your law to get past the city gates, and a terrible price was paid. Afterwards, I agreed to your marriage law despite my plans to not get married for quite some time. I'm not going to wait any longer after what I've done to stand before you now. Thus, you will hear my question now," you replied, doing your best to keep your voice calm and even.

A spark of interest flashed in her husband's eyes, as though he had never seen someone defy his wife before. As for the Queen herself, she looked surprised beyond words before her eyes narrowed and a forced smile spread on her lips. She lifted her right hand and waved it towards the servant, signaling for him to wait longer. Doing as his queen requested, he dropped the curtains and vanished behind them.

"What is it you wish to ask of me, outsider?" she replied, her tone going slightly lower, indicating the presence of irritation.

"I want to know what information you have on Kinete. Your estate guards told me that only you possess such knowledge about the places beyond the land mass and the ways on how to get there. Thus, what do you know about the depths of Kinete?"

"I do know of such a place, but why should I tell you of it? You're an outsider, who has just refused to follow my command of making another meeting. That's quite an insult to me."

"Forgive me if I have damaged your feelings, but I'm only asking for you to answer a question. After you do so, you will never have to see my companion and me again. We, outsiders, will bring you no more trouble. Besides, I have made quite the journey to get here, and I won't be thrown out of your presence merely due to an inefficient rule made by your ancestors and you. Now, will you please answer me?"
