It was the next day and Josh was seated in Mr. Ieros office with Mr. Way , as well as Tyler.
"Josh, today we have some things to discuss" Mr. Iero said making Josh fidget nervously
Tyler ran his thumb over Josh's knee in a reassuring way, as if to let him know that everything was gonna be okay.
"Josh, you made the top ten in your class" Mr. Iero said and Josh's eyes widen. "Wh-what! Mr...you're joking!" he said voice holding excitement yet the little part of nerves.
"I'm not kidding , Josh you can b your class valedictorian" Frank said and Josh's heart pumped in his chest.
"You just gotta bring your grade up a little in English and I promise you you'll be up there" Frank said and Josh was ecstatic.
because for the first time
he didn't feel dumb
he didn't feel lazy
he didn't feel stupid.
"What do I gotta do?" Josh asked and Mr. Iero smiled softy.
"Maybe some book reports should help you" He said with a nod.
Josh was nervous he wasn't the best at those kinds of things, he turned to Tyler.
"Wo-would you help me?" he asked shyly and Tyler grinned.
"Of course I will, you're my boy"

ps. i won't be on for a few days...my teachers decided it would be a good idea to assign a four page essay and a work book pamphlet that's 5 pages and a book report and it's really gonna be hard so i just need a break , because i can't do it all at once
