Chapter 12: Trouble Town

When I come to I have a pain in my head so severe it makes me throw up. I look around me an find I'm in an abandoned warehouse. The walls are covered in mould, rats and mice scurry in and out of he shadows, broken bottles lie on the floor.

"Hello?" I call out. My voice echoes around walls and I get no reply. I check my pockets for my phone, to find not my own phone, but a very expensive looking phone.

I open the message and to my horror it's Aurora. She's tied to a chair, a piece of cloth dotted with blood is stuffed in her mouth and tears are rolling down her face. The phone beeps and I read a new message.

•From: Your true love.

If you want to see her again you better be good Jake. x

I feel like screaming. I feel like crying. But the only thing I do is reply.

•To:Your True Love

What do I have to do?

I sit for almost an hour waiting for a reply. When it finally does come, that's when the tears come. Just two. Two silent tears.

•From:Your True Love

You'll see. You won't be happy about it, but we will. We'll have fun. And you will never see Aurora again after tonight. It's a trouble town Jake, Aurora has just found that out. See you soon Jake. x
