Abbey's P.O.V

It's cold, and is raining snow. Yup that's what I see as I get off the plane and into a taxi that will take my mother and I at least three hours away from the airport to the little town called Forest Gate. So far I am a little happy I mean it's different from the sunny hot weather in California but it's a good different.

Just as I presumed the taxi ride did take at least three hours and now the poor fellow that was driving is going to have to drive all the way back. I could tell the mister wasn't pleased with this because as we got out of the car he ran to the boot and just chucked our bags on the ground, grabbed the money out of my mother's hand and then sped off. I gave a little wave to the driver even though he probably wasn't going to be giving us a glance back any day.

I turned to my mother and gave a small smile, "he was nice".

She just huffed and grabbed her bag and stalked towards the little cottage like house. I would be lying if I said I didn't like it. The place looked so peaceful and calm but that's not what I loved about it, it had a forest as the backyard (which mother would probably lay rules down for) and a couple of trees in the front yard. Yes that's right my tiny little house is surrounded by forest. The place did give me a little bit of the chills but I mean who could blame me the place was crawling with wolves of all shapes and sizes.

I grabbed my bag and walked up the beige coloured porch. I stared at it and looked around a bit and to put it simply it looked boring but nice at the same time cause it did have little bits of white here and there. I continued into the house and yup exactly the same as the outside.

My mum looked up from her phone and just pointed upstairs, probably telling me that my room was upstairs, which it was. My room was already furnished and it looked plain and boring, just like the rest of the house. Don't get me wrong, just like I said before, I love the house it's just something different here and there would be nice.

I think I should tell you a bit about myself. I'm 17 and at least 5"3 (I know I was never a tall person) , brown wavy hair and I'm pretty skinny I guess you could say. I didn't want to move here and neither did my mother, Julie, but I was being bullied really badly and just couldn't stand it.

So yeah that's it.... I guess. I knew that moving here I would still have to deal with whatever was chucked, thrown, pushed or pegged at me but I think I can cope.

"Abbey go check the town out a little and don't go into that forest you hear me!!" My mother yelled at me from down the stairs.

"Loud and clear" I answered while walking down the stairs and out the door without giving her a second glance. I know I sound like a terrible person but she is always so mean to me. She is always on her phone talking to business people and blah blah blah. I know she came here with me which was nice and all but she doesn't need to be a mango about it ( I hate to swear or use bad language).

I was now at least in the heart of the town and all I can see is a couple of houses, some clothes stores, a church, a primary school, high school and then a grocery store. I searched through my pockets and luckily I had about $2 to get chocolate milk.

I walked in through the door and a little bell chime went off. I looked up at the signs and at the end of the shop was the dairy section. I walked down there and as I got closer I could hear the sound of playful banter from a couple of teenage boys. I round the corner and sure enough there are three fit looking guys wrestling each other. I stood still just watching them. I could get my milk and leave but I'll probably get in the way.

You know what who cares. I carefully made my way to were the milk was and just as I was about to get my milk one of the guys was thrown on me, I guess when I said I had to prepare for anything thrown at me I meant anything but not this!

I squealed as this guy came flying towards me and bam I'm on the floor with this 6"6 monster on me.

"Cheesecakes" I squeaked out.

"Oh shit" the person on top of me said. I couldn't see anything because I had my hair in my face. The person brushed it away and now I was staring into ocean blue eyes.

"Mate" the person whispered.

"What?" I whispered back.

He cleared his throat and chuckled "I mean mate come help me get of this lovely lady". He looked at me and then did this weird glare thing to his friend.

"Oh right yeah" his friend said getting the hidden message of the stare.

As soon as um let's call him chip was off me he helped me of the floor. When I was on two feet I looked at the three of them and sure enough they were massive compared to me. I was up to Chips chest.

"I haven't seen you here before" Chip spoke up.

"Um I just moved here" I spoke very quietly because I was so intimidated at the moment.

They just continued to stare at me and I was getting really unconfutable.

"Well it was lovely being crushed but uh.... I have to go bye" I quickly said and then ran off and do you know what the worst thing was....

....I didn't get my chocolate milk.
