Song: Heart Song by Automatic Loveletter

Chelsea

"Happy Valentine's Day, baby," Oliver greeted me the morning of February 14th. He gave me a big hug and passionate kiss when I reached him. I never took him for one of those guys to get all sappy and lovey-dovey just because it was Valentine's Day, but I guess I had been wrong.

He slipped his hand into mine and continued to tell me that he made reservations for us at this restaurant at six. I had never had a date for Valentine's Day before and usually spent the night reading some romantic novel wishing I was with the guy of my dreams instead of in my room. I guess this year I was getting my wish. I was pretty excited to actually be doing something this year and I was glad my first real Valentine's Day date was going to be with Oliver.

All too soon we arrived at school and were greeted by couples looking so in love I wanted to barf. There was one couple practically fucking each other in one of the corridors. I wasn't a huge fan of Valentine's Day for this particular reason. I mean, Oli and I held hands a lot, but it wasn't like we were making out between class. On Valentine's, the whole school seemed to be on PDA overload. It really annoyed me, too. Just because you love each doesn't mean I need to see you with your boyfriends hands up your shirt.

"Today's gonna be fun," I muttered sarcastically as we took our seats in chemistry. Oli shot me a grin like he knew exactly what I was talking about.

The whole seemed to be a blur of disgusting couples and teachers scolding everyone about their excessive amounts of love. When I finally got home, I let out a sigh of relief. I had been glad that Lee, Nicholls, Matt, and Curtis didn't have girlfriends because if I had to sit through lunch with them making out I would've killed either them or myself. As I fell into my bed, I let out a groan. The restaurant Oliver had told me that we were going to was a bit upscale. It was too fancy, but I doubted that my Motley Crue t-shirt and skinny jeans were going to cut it.

After a good few moments of being lazy, I stood up and searched through my closet. All I really had was t-shirts and jeans. I had a few nicer shirts saved for occasions like this. After awhile I found one of my few nicer shirts. It was made out of black sheer material with long sleeves. Half way down the sleeves it had some lacy stuff. I pulled off my t-shirt and pulled on a black tank top and then the shirt. I didn't have any nicer pants or shoes so I just left on my skinny jeans and combat boots. I then decided to curl my hair and redo my makeup. Since I was in the mood to go all out on my look, I used the eyeliner to give make one of those wing things. After I was satisfied with my look, I realized I still had about an hour till Oliver was going to pick me up so I picked up my book determined to finish before he arrived.

About an hour later I was turning to the last page of my just as there was a knock at the door. I figure it was Oliver, so I got up and went to the door with my book in front of my face. There was no way I was leaving this house without finishing this book. I reached out with my empty hand to open the door. As soon as it swung open, I heard Oliver chuckle. He kissed the top of my head in an attempt to not bother me.

"I'm almost done," I told him as I read the last sentence. I shut the book gently and looked up at him. His eyes shown with pure happiness. I reached up and let my lips crash into his. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his around my waist. His touch sent a wave of electricity through my body and the butterflies in my stomach flapped their wings.

"As much as I would love to stay here and do this for the rest of the night, if we don't leave now we're gonna be late," Oli told me as he pulled away from the kiss. He gave me a smile that made my insides melt.

I pouted as he let go of my waist, making him laugh. He kissed my forehead and I followed him to his car excited for the night.

Oliver

The whole drive I couldn't help but notice how beautiful Chelsea looked. Don't get me wrong, she always looked beautiful, but it was something about how she had done her makeup and the fact that she wasn't in her usual band t-shirt that caught my eye. I had to make sure I had my eyes on the road and not on her while I was driving.

When I finally pulled up to the restaurant, I parked the car and we got out. As we walked towards the door, I felt Chelsea's fingers interlock with mine and I couldn't help but smile. I loved the way her hand felt in mine. It felt like it belonged there.

When we entered the building, I told the waitress my name and she sat us. I looked around and noticed a lot of couple that were probably my parents' age. I felt kind of out of place, but as long as I was with Chelsea, I was happy. The waitress soon came around to take our orders.

"So how exactly are you paying for this?" Chelsea questioned, leaning her elbow on the table and resting her head in her hand. I looked into those gorgeous eyes trying to focus on her question and not how beautiful she was.

"My mum gave me some money. Her liking you comes in handy," I replied with a small smile. I didn't have a job since I was supposed to be concentrating on school, so I usually barely had money for gas, but I got by.

"Well, who wouldn't like me?" she asked, flipping her curled hair to put on a conceited act causing me to let out a little laugh. I really liked her hair curled like that. For some reason it really brought out her features.

"I have no idea who wouldn't like you," I replied truthfully. I knew her mum didn't like her, but I didn't see a reason. Chelsea was really one of the most amazing people I had ever met. I might be biased, but it was how I felt.

She blushed and was silent for a few moments as she looked down at her lap. Over these last few months I realized that she got embarrassed very easily, which I thought was insanely cute, but I thought almost everything about her was cute.

The rest of the dinner went well and after I paid we headed back out to my car. I had been driving for a few moments when she spoke up. "Thanks dinner, Oli," she told me as I stopped at a stop signed. The streets were pretty deserted considering it was getting late so stopped was quiet pointless, but I did it anyway.

She reached over to kiss my cheek just as I was turning my head to look at her, resulting in her getting my lips instead of my cheek. She didn't seem startled though; she simply went with it and kissed me passionately. I kissed her back, my foot still on the brake. We kissed for a few moments only breaking apart for air and then going right back where we left off. I didn't hear any honking from other cars so I figured it didn't matter how long we sat here at this stop sign. She soon let me slide my tongue into her mouth. A few minutes later, I parked the car on the side of the road and turned the key in the ignition turning it off. As soon as the car was off, she crashed her lips into mine and we picked up where we left off.

Before I knew what she was doing, she was climbing over the arm rest and into the back seat. She gestured for me to join her with a small smile. I felt my heart pounding and my hands sweating. She always seemed to have that affect on me. Even after almost six month of knowing and being in love with her, she still gave me butterflies. I climbed into the backseat almost falling causing her to laugh. I was tempted to give her the finger but I held back so I wouldn't ruin the moment. I sat down next to her and we started kissing again. My hands found their way up her shirt and found their destination. I was surprised when she lifted it over her head. I would've thought that after that whole pregnancy thing last time she wouldn't want to do anything again for awhile. I mean, I definitely was not complain, though.

Soon clothes were flying and we were trying to keep quiet since we were technically in public. I'll just say that we were both very thankful for tinted windows.
