Chapter 13: Veronica

"Yes, they are almost complete." I said to the person on the other end of the line, when Minnie popped her blonde head in my office and signaled to me.

Distracted from the conversation I was having with the Fashion Week's manager, I put a hand on the phone where my voice goes in the device and raised my eyebrows at my assistant, asking her what was wrong.

"Flash Fhun." She mouthed. I nodded my head, silently telling her to let the model come on up. Minnie left and I focused back on the manager's voice.

A minute later, my door opened just as I was ending my talks. "Yes Angie, I will be there." I chuckled for she was known to confirm and reconfirm things, making her sometimes pretty annoying but she was at least good at what she does.

I looked up just as a tall guy draped himself on the chairs in front of me with his legs on my table, ankles crossed. I liked the pair of Jordan's on his feet, I really did, but this was no way to behave. I concentrated on not blowing my temper and looked at the person.

Flash Fhun. Weird name, I know but his looks more than make up for it. His blonde hair; almost to the point of white were styled in that I-don't-care look. His black shirt and loose pair of blue jeans could not hide that muscular stature. His sharp cheekbones could grate cheese or something. His full lips were just begging to be kissed.

He was overall, a beautiful specimen of the opposite gender. He looked like an angel but with a sculpted body.

Despite his obvious beauty, I couldn't help but compare him to Dean

Despite his obvious beauty, I couldn't help but compare him to Dean. I suddenly realized that I was more attracted to dark intense looks rather than what Flash had.

Clearing my throat for I had felt it close up a little at the thought of Dean, I faced Flash, my show-stopper for the Dubai Fashion Week.

I stood up from my executive chair and grabbed the file kept on the side-desk and leafed through it, still standing. Going to the page where Mr. Fhun's information was, I stopped.

Suddenly I realized that he was following my every move and I turned to face him, raising my guard. I didn't like the vibes he was sending.

His black eyes held some kind of emotion which repulsed me instantly. He made a deliberate show of scanning me head to toe, taking in my attire and I am sure all my curves. He trailed his eyes back to my face, in my eyes. Smirked.
