Simon's POV
'Today's weather is supposed to be in the mid forties and there will be a sixty percent chance of rain. Normal weather for London,'
I plop my head onto MacKenzie's head and start to fall asleep. We're in Karmyn's hospital room. But with no Karmyn. Karmyn has been in surgery for about nineteen hours now and we decided to stay at the hospital. Soon, Josh walks into the room with two cups of water.
"How's she doing?"
"We don't know. It's been nineteen hours and we haven't heard anything yet."
"Well, take this," he hands me the bottle of water, "you need it."
"Thanks."
MacKenzie wakes up and looks at both of us. Her gaze is sleepy and confused, "Is she okay?"
"I don't know. We haven't hea-"
"Mr. And Mrs.Minter?" The doctor asks.
"Yes?"
"I'm sorry. She didn't make it," he says, giving us a sorrowful look.
Hehehe. I'm so mean to you guys! Short chapter but there'll be more updates later today... maybe. 😋
