"Do you actually know what we're doing here?" Jet drawled from the corner of his cell, sarcastic tone echoing and bouncing off the walls, "It seems extremely stupid to give ourselves up like that."

None of us could see Eira's eyes behind her mask in the darkness, but she was rolling them, "It would have been more stupid to fight back. All those supers? Are you kidding?"

"I'm with Jet," Commander Colossus chimed in from my left, "We could have taken them."

"No we couldn't have," Spectre seemed extremely sure of himself, well he could see our futures who knew what he'd predicted.

He'd been confident in my plan, even if he didn't know what it was.

"I'm just surprised that they couldn't catch Samuel Franklin, they're supposed to be supers, and they couldn't track one guy? Typical." I scoffed again, still fiddling with the power inhibiting handcuffs behind my back.

It was silent for a long time as they all considered their positions.

"Red... you do have a plan right?" The Commander asked hopefully.

"Obviously she does, or this all would have been pointless." Eira countered, picking dirt from under her nails.

"Just trust me will you? I'm no hero, Villains always have plans." Utter bullshit. I was making this up as I went. They didn't need to known that though, "Okay first things first, does anyone still have working powers?"

"No this is Pike we're talking about, he would have prepared for that."

I wasn't so sure. This was like back at the party ages ago, some of us must still have powers if I could still shift even with the block. Someone should still be able to do something, even if it was small. "Jet?"

He eyed me doubtfully for two seconds before his eyes widened in surprise. "I actually can shift," He pushed away from the wall, kneeling in the middle of his cell, "I got this." With that he faded out of existence and a wisp of mist snuck out from behind the bars.

"Cool, no shift back and let us out." The Commander stood up and brushed off his suit, "Places to be, people to save."

Revenge to be had, Will said in my mind. Obviously he still had  use of this power, it was a small consolation. I cast a glance his way, only to find him still obscured in the shadows, the only thing I could see was the light reflecting dark humour in his hooded eyes.

But the mist (AKA Jet) didn't shift back, only continued to float away, disappearing under the door.

"What the hell is he doing!" Eira hissed, "He's going to give us away!"

"Because all five of us leaving at once wouldn't?" I replied and continued after staring evenly at Eira's glare, "He's scouting the place. We don't need to leave the building, only these cells. He's doing what I'd do."

"Comforting."

"I thought we solved this? Villains aren't as bad? It was five to six chapters ago?"

"You're right, I'm sorry." She cast her eyes back towards the door, "I'm just on edge... I don't know how we're gonna get out of this."

I swallowed, but before I could reply Spectre spoke up from his spot in the dark, "Alive. And cleared of all guilt."

That's likely, I laughed in my head. As if the'd clear a villain of all guilt. With my luck, they'd probably find a way to blame everything on me. It'd happened before.

I'd need to run.

That is, my eyes flicked back to Spectre, if no-one tries to stop me
