Before the events of the Bargain, he was a free Elven. Spending the eternal days in peaceful repost. Little did he know that his seclusion will closely come to an end. A fateful event turned him into an animal. An animal to be poached, caged, to be bought or eaten.

"Are you sure there's a catch here?"

"Positive. You know what they say about it."

"Of course. They say that Communers here see a humanoid figure every night. The most interesting fact 'bout it is that it has peircing green eyes."

"They say it's enchanting."

"Yeah. They say it's pretty hostile. One sound from you can send it scampering!"

"Keep quiet. That's why I made the perfect plan to catch the little animal."

"What is it?"

"Look over there."

They had set up the perfect entrapment for the desired beast. In the deep jungle of Madorille, a female Light Elven was set leashed to the ground. The leash sent electrical surges to the Even which caused immense pain. The Elven wailed and winced in pain. In the midst of the torture, the two herders, accompanied by eight others, laid hidden in the foliage. They knew this action would attract the creature towards them.

"Nothing's happening."

"Be patient!"

"It's been three hours!"

"Maybe we're not inflicting pain enough."

"Set the power to 70%!"

With that, they increased the leash's power. The Elven was screeching, pleading to stop. She knew she would die. Her only hope was for the mystical creature to appear and be captured.

"That'll get it."

Within minutes, the Herders heard rustles not far away. Could this be it? The creature whose bounty could be worth a fortune! They just neec to sell it to a filthy-rich person and all is good. Very good.

A figure suddenly appeared in front of them, cloaked in darkness. Only it's peircing green eyes could be seen. It was it. The Phantom of Madorille. It was theirs for the taking. The Lunarflare finally brought some clarity to his appearance. The valouse revealed a young, teenage boy with jet-black hair, fair skin, though slightly darker, long, slender, pointed ears, fanged teeth, with feral claws. it was slowly approaching the suffering Elven.

"Please help me...."

"Do not wary. I will remove you of your burden..."

"Who has done this to you?"

The Elven did not answer. She must not. She knew that she will be in trouble if she told it. The creature took one quick slash on the leash. The girl was set free, but for the creature it meant capture.

"Thank you, and please forgive me..."

"Forgive you for what matter?"

Without warning, the Herders quickly cornered him. One of them lunged at him. He quickly countered to a heel kick to the Herder's face. The others were taking turns wearing him down. He was quick and reflexive. He threw kicks to two of the Herders, pinning them down. He snapped a Frankensteiner and a Savate Kick, both of which was fast enough to bewilder two more Herders. He bit one on the arms, while another one punched him in the gut. He winced, but he continued to retaliate. He scratched theHerder he bit and threw him down to the ground. The numbers game got up to him. One attacked him with an ShockBaton to the back. He flinched. This unfortunate opening gave the others a chance to strike. With their ShockBatons, they put quick work of him, shocking him enough to tire him out. They did not want him dead, but weak enough to be captured. Soon, he fell, eyes shut. TheHerders were successful. they have caught their biggest catch.

"Good job everyone."

"With this catch, we're smooth-sailing!"

"Any noble would buy the Phantom of Madorille!"

His eyes opened just enough for him to understand their utters. He tried to run back to the foliage, but before he could move another foot, he was pinned to the ground. Set to maximum, The Herder put the ShockBaton to his neck, incapacitating him.

"Slippery, isn't he?"

"Good thinking."

"Load him up."

"Alright men, pack up and head back to Veil. Reload supplies there, and head straight to our main buyer, Sallet."

One of them put him in his shoulder, carrying him towards the containment area. There, he was hog-tied and gagged. Outside, the herders gave the female Elven food, as a job well done. She knew she had done wrong, but she must survive.

He remembered that day in which he was no longer free. He has nothing but the Sapirs to blame for. Now, This female is standing before her. In her, he can sense sincerity and kindness. But, he was not taking chances. She could be decieving her. He just wanted to go back to the jungle. Now, he has been a toy for a Sapir. That was exactly what he felt when he helped the Elven, before she betrayed her.
