"T-they're Sapirs."

"THEY"RE SELLING SAPIRS!!!!"

Hagel and Quair hushed me. I cannot believe that thiswhole Inspection and Bargain talk is about human trafficking. How in the world could the Dathu allow this?! I looked at him. He seened so calm as if this is just another day for him. I glanced at Xanaehla. She seemed happy. It's as if she's looking for something-SOMEONE to buy.

The nobles were at fuss. Each one of them was inspecting the Sapirs to be sold. They would touch their ringlets, bodies, and talking to them. Not one hour has passed, and about a dozen of nobles already have "bought" three to four Sapirs each.

There was something odd about those Sapirs, though. Even if they were clother with long robes and their faces were covered with very long hoods, I could see they have very fair skin, peircing golden-yellow eyes, and not only that....

"They have pointed ears......"

"Indeed. These "people" are called Light Elven, dear." said Quair.

"Every five circas, herders from Communes would venture out of the wilderness. They would return with a catch of very rare Cryptids to be sold to other neighboring Communes. This is a way of strengthening the bonds between them." explained Hagel.

"I understand catching and selling Cryptids. But these are not Cryptids!"

"Well, according to Scripters, anyone or anything taht doesn't look like us is branded a Cryptid. The Light Elven are one of them. They said that these creatures are very plentiful." Hagel stated.

"So they would subdue them to be slaves?"

"Not just for slavery, dear. Some would buy them as collections, for their meat and for pets."

"F-for meat?"

I would almost throw up. The thought of these innocent Elvens be butchered, butted and carved for their meat is just horrendous. I can only imagine what the meats from our kitchen came from... DISGUSTING.........

"Eew....Gross......Too young........Too old!!! Isn't there anyone of these animals worth a good Quhr?!"

It was Xahnaela. She was also into this whole Bargain thing. Well, I should have expected that from her.

"Father, the catch today is worthless!!!"

"Take your time, daughter. There is bound to be something there worthy of your eyes."

I looked around. There are only four of them left. And a noble from Curiass bought them. What could Xanaehla possibly want? I also observed the Communers here. They also seem to have a share of fun in this. Am I the only one who opposes this?!

"For you princess, we have saved the best for last!"

"The best for last?!" Hagel and Quair said, shocked. I guess they are also against this.....somehow.

"Oh really? Well then, hurry up!!! Gosh, You guys are slower than YOURHIA!"

Did she really just say my name?

"Herders, bring him in! Careful princess, this one is a bit feisty."

"Come here! Don't make me use this whip on you."

"Go on, MOVE!!!"

The herders were seizing someone. They're probably saving him just for Xanaehla. Is he good enought for her? Judging by the herders, this one seems to fight for his freedom. How I wish the cords on him would snap and he would escape. Of course, that would not happen.

The end of the cords would reveal another Elven. I could only say for this Bargain is only Elvens. Like the others, his entire form is covered by a long robe and hood. It's styled quite differently that others. He must be that special. His teeth were clenched together, trying to fight of his captors, but to no avail.

The herders pushed him towards the center of the Throne room and pin him down to his knees.  Finally, They stripped him of his garment.

I COULDN' T BELIEVE IT!

The garments concealed a young man! He was quite different from the Light Elvens. He had slightly darker skin compared to the others, but it was still fair. He had peircing green eyes and soft, bouncing black hair wafted through his face. He was looking at everyone. Icould sense he was scared. I would be too,,,,

H-he was so handsome. My heartwas pounding fast. My face was warm. His eyes were so enchanting and hypnotizing.

"I-I-I..."

"OMG, I WANT THAT ONE!"

"Dear, is something the matter? "

"Yourhia, you're face is turning red..."

Oh goodness, I was sweating. HIs face is just so alluring........HE LOOKED AT ME!!! My heart continued to race. HE WAS STILL LOOKING AT ME! What's happening to me?! He tilted his head slowly to the left. It's as if he's observing me.

I brought my head down. I still felt warm inside. People were gasping, murmuring. I could hear them saying whata magnificent creature it is, Xanaehla being lucky to buy him and some wishing he could be theirs.

I looked up, feeling myself calmed down.

OH DEAR, HE WAS MOVING TOWARDS ME! I was gasping. The herders were trying to subdue him by pulling his leash. He was pulled back to the middle of the room. I turned around to avoid looking at him. That was the first time I felt like that. It was so confusing, yet so enjoyable. I------

The statue was floating!

Could my powers have set off? I tried what I did last time to the vase to make sure it was my doing. IT MOVED. It was mine! I have to move fast, no one must see this. I focused my mind to it, and slowly it settled back down. I can seem to control it, but I still don't know how to purposely.

"Dear, are you alright? You seem flustered."

"Huh, Oh I'm alright Quair, just a little tired that's all."

"Hmm, you know I could've remembered that statue was facing the other direction." said Hagel.

I tensed. I was so flustered that I forgot to place it properly!

"I uhm...."

I was slowly moving away from them.....

"Hey watch it!"

"Excuse me young lady!"

"Why is she walking backwards?"

"This one is for 400,000 Quhr, mi'lady."

"Fine, IS he behaved?"

"Oh yes! He can be agitated when he gets touched too much."

"I suppose we'll have to tame him. I'llpay you extra 350,000 if you'll do so."

"Gladly..."

"Well, I'll meed a caretaker as well. Father!"

"We'll ask one of our maids."

"U-uh......."

"Excuse me, Miss?"

"Yourhia, what the hell are you doing?!"

"Huh?"

I didn't notice I was already in the middle of the Presentation room. Everyone was looking at me. I twisted around and saw the Elven right beside me. He was looking very furious at me. Even so, I can sense a calmness from his eyes and....gentleness. My heart was racing again.

"Perfect, Yourhia will be the caretaker of my daughter's pet!"

"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! SHE'S STUPID!"

"Xanaehla, hold your tongue. I thank you Yourhia for volunteering."

"Huh? I-I......i-it was my honor Dathu."

I would soon feel Xanaehla wrath again. But, I looked at him again. He was still wearing the angry eyes. He was hostile. I could not blame him. His innocence was shattered by Sapirs. To these people he's nothing more than a beast. In truth, WE ARE THE BEASTS...
