it's nearly five in the morning. michael still hasn't fallen asleep yet and neither has luke. they are both still on a high from what happened only hours ago. they have been talking all night, not even realizing what time it was.

"have you ever thought about getting married?" michael questions, adjusting his head so he is able to look at luke.

"i guess so, i was never in a relationship ship long enough to get to that step in my life," luke admits.

michael is silent for a moment. he really did love luke, "do you think there's a chance we will we get married some day?"

luke is outstandingly shocked, to say the least, when he is asked that. he would be lying if he said he didn't panic on the inside a bit. he hasn't got to think about that far in the future yet. sure, he liked the idea of getting married to michael, not anytime soon, but it the future years from now.

"I would like that," luke says, threading his fingers through michael's hair, "i like the thought of being with you forever."

michael smiles contently as he lets his eyes flutter shut. he knows it was an out of the blue question, only being with luke for a little less than a year, but he wanted to always have the blonde by his side. sure he was young and never experienced this feeling with anyone else before, but he couldn't think of anyone else that could possibly bring so much happiness into his life. if he was going to get married one day, he wanted luke to be the one beside him.

michael reopens his eyes to look right into vibrant blue ones, "do you think you could love me for that long?"

luke can't think of the day when he wouldn't love michael, "of course, you don't make it very hard to love you."

michael curls his body up into a ball as he lays beside luke. he never minds being at luke's house all the time. he rather do this his whole life than be in public with judging eyes.

luke hasn't brought up the whole ashton situation yet. he wasn't sure how to tell the boy that he was going on a fake date with someone who threatened to ruin their relationship. he didn't want to keep it from mike, but it seemed like every time he tried to bring it up he couldn't bring himself to talk about it.

"thank you for showing me how it feels to be loved," michael wished he could have felt this kind of love sooner in his life. he wished his mum could have showed him love.

luke lets his hand rest of michael's bare thigh, running his hand up and down in a soothing way, "you deserve to always feel loved. no matter who you end up with, they better make you feel loved or they will have to go through me."

"but you're like, a twig," michael chuckles as luke pouts.

"what are you talking about? i could definitely take someone out," luke jokes, cracking a smile.

"you couldn't even take the own cap off your water today, I don't think you will be able to take someone out."

"it wouldn't come off!" luke defends himself, "and it was beginning to hurt my fingers."

"whatever you say," michael drastically sighs, the look on luke's face making him look younger than he really is.

luke pulls michael's body closer to his own. he pulls him so close that their is no space between them, their noses are brushing together slightly. they could almost here each other breathing.

"trust me, if anyone breaks your heart, I will happily get my ass beat if that means they will never do anything to hurt you again."

luke leans in slowly, letting his lips linger onto michael's. the younger boys lips were always so soft, pressing against luke's so delicately. the older man has kisses people before, but it was nothing compared to the kisses he shares with michael.

michael pulls away momentarily, his lips brushing against luke's as he speaks, "I can't wait for the day when you make me yours forever."
