For the next two weeks Jayla and I work crazy hard on the costume designs. I'm not the best artist so I had to hire the little booger Kyle as my artist. He may be annoying but his drawing skills are amazing, and in return all I have to do is pay him candy bars every two days.

I made sure to incorporate the boys personalities into their outfits. For Prod I used some graffiti designs inspired by Chris Brown, for Roc I used a chain link on his pants and embellishments on his jacket. For Ray I used alot of intricate patterns on the pockets and shirt and for Prince, I used a lot of studs and buttons, also adding an leopard print P on his jacket. I can already imagine his face lighting up when he lays his eyes on it.

I watch as Kyle sketches out the studs I want on Roc's jacket. I can't wait to see what it looks like once its really created...if I do get chosen that is. I have to enter my designs by tomorrow and then I just have to wait to get that amazing email confirming that I've won the contest.

"Alright Kacey, I'm done." Kyle says, wiping off the eraser shaving from the paper. He holds the papers up to his face and gazes at it briefly before turning it around so I can see the finish products. I take the papers from him and stare at them with adoration. It's crazy to see all my ideas...and Jayla's...all sketched out and put together.

"This look so cool, thank you Kyle." I say to him, which is a sentence that will probably never leave my mouth again. Kyle and I fight too much to thank each other for anything.

"No problem, I'd like to see someone top these." He says with a cocky smirk, his brown eyes twinkling proudly. I chuckle and shuffle through the designs for each boy once again.

I land on Princeton's design and smile, I can't believe how well these came out. They're even better than I imagined. "I can't wait for Jayla to see these." I say, pulling out my phone to text her.

"Um pause yourself," Kyle snaps at me, snatching my phone from my hands. I look up at him with furrowed brows and a frown. "Pay up first."

I roll my eyes and reach on my nightstand to grab his king size snicker bar. I throw it in his lap and snatch my phone back from him, "Here dummy. You're going to get cavities from the amount of candy you've been eating these past two weeks."

Kyle smirks at me and stands up, tearing open his candy bar and taking a bite before talking with his mouth full. "Well I guess that makes two of us with screwed up teeth and an ugly appearance."

That one hit hard. I've always been bullied for my braces and glasses in school, so to come home and be made fun of too hurts even more. I scoff and jump to my feet, I slap him hard in the back of his head before opening my room door and pushing him out roughly, he stumbles on his way through the door and I slam it closed behind.

"Kacey stop slamming doors!" My mother yells at me. I shake my head and pick up the paper from the floor before placing them in a protective folder so they don't get ruined. Slamming doors in Kyles face has been going on for years now, she should be used to it by now. My hands shake a little as the anger slowly deflates from my body. I still wonder why my parents couldn't just stop at one child. I'm the whole package, why would they want a snot nosed little boy running around too?

I quickly text Jayla telling her that the designs are done before I stand up and look in the mirror at my tangled frizzy brown hair and my dark brown eyes, hidden behind my rectangular shaped purple glasses. Then there's my braces with the lime green wires that nearly blind people when I smile. My eyes drop down to my pudgy stomach and wide hips and I can't help but smile. I may not be super skinny, with silky hair, 20/20 vision and perfectly straight teeth but hey, at least people will remember me by my appearance.
