Avery

After taking shower, I stared at myself in the mirror.

Cold water dripped down my body, from my wet dark hair, sending shivers down my spine.

I pulled my hair up, into a soft dry towel, and wrapped another towel around my body.

A dark purple spot appeared on my neck, where my hair was supposedly covering.

I looked closer at it, assuming it was just a stain on the mirror... But it wasn't.

Thanks Cameron for the hickey..

I finished up in the bathroom by doing my makeup and blow drying my hair. Then I went into my room and got dressed.

I put on a grey shirt, with a high neck, so my skin blemish wouldn't show, and then I put on a pair of black leggings.

I grabbed my backpack from the floor, and went downstairs.

Anna was at the bottom of the stairs on her phone.

I squeezed past her, and went outside.

Noah was again, in his driveway shooting hoops.

I shut the door behind me, which caught his attention.

He looked up at me, and pushed his brown hair out of his face.

"Hey". He smiles, throwing the basketball into the net again.

I walked over to him, and set my backpack on the lawn.

"Hey".

"I heard about last night". He winks.

My mouth parted, but nothing came out.

"U-um what?" I asked.

He playfully rolled his eyes.

"You and Cameron?" He says in a duh tone.

I crossed my arms over my chest. Why the hell would Cameron tell him that?

Noah probably thinks that I'm too easy now.

"Oh my god". I mumbled.

My face reddened, and my stomach started to feel queasy, from embarrassment.

Noah chuckled, as he started to spike his ball.

"You did the right thing tho". He says.

I looked back up at him, thankful he didn't pick on me, or call me names.

"If you didn't push him away, you'd probably be called the school slut by now".

I bit my lip, feeling glad I DID push him away.

Before anything else could be said, the sound of a door opened.

Me and Noah both looked behind us, to see Cameron himself, standing on the porch outside of their house.

He wore a grey t-shirt, black jeans, and his black vans.

He looked at me, and a seductive smirk grew onto his face.

He stepped down the porch stairs, and walked towards us.

With my arms still crossed over my chest, I turned away from him, and picked up my backpack.

"C'mom Noah". I say, grabbing his arm.

He nodded, and followed me.

We walked to school together, with Cameron strolling behind us.
