Valentina

What are you doing here?

My wolf snarled when Jace continued approaching me. Anguish, fear, and a feeling of deep betrayal overtook my body at the love filled look Jace gave me. I growled, you're distracting me.

I could say the same about you. What are you doing here?

Ignoring his question and his obvious curiosity, I watched out of the corner of my eyes as a wolf with a much bigger amount of muscle than myself silently approached me. Probably trying to be the next ruler of the rogues.

Like hell.

Before I could kill the poor imbecile, Jace grabbed him by the neck and ripped him to shreds. Not bad. But I can kill a wolf way faster than that, I just enjoy watching a wolf who tries to challenge me die a slow painful death.

I guess I'm a bit cruel, in that sense.

Then again they deserve it.

So does Jace, so why haven't you killed him yet?

I growled at Iris until finally realizing that the fight was over and we had won. Jace and his packs arrival had increased our chances of winning by a lot and now all of the rogues were dead. And I couldn't help but quiver in fear as I watched the eyes of Jaces pack inspect me. As I watched them all retreat, that is, except for Jace. I couldn't shake the fear that made my fur stand and my heart palpitate unnaturally.

When Jace mind linked our pack I controlled the urge to block him out. Because no matter how badly I wanted to, if I did I'd be unable to listen in on what he tells the pack.

Valentina is my mate. And it is time I take her back with me to my pack, Hunter.

At this, the entire pack was in an uproar, over the past couple months I became really close to this pack. Everyone looked up to me as some sort of pack princess and I couldn't help but get attached. And Jace has no fucking right to be here.

He's a coward and I will not stand here and let him lock me up again. At this point everyone including myself had turned back into human form. No one caring about the fact that we were all naked, including Jace. And it took a lot of self control for me to restrain my wandering eyes. Jace of course, didn't even bother.

I could almost smell the jealousy on him when he pushed me behind him, away from prying eyes. He silently handed me a large shirt. I glared at him now, but looked away when I felt the warm liquid from hell pool in my eyes.

"You can't take Valentina!"

"Who cares if he's the King Alpha, let's tie him up and let the rogues go at him!" Harsh, Nanna Jane.

"She's right," Blake called out, stepping up next to Hunter,"not about the feeding him to the rogues part. But just because you're king doesn't mean you can just come in and steal my Valentina!"

My? Iris whispered in disbelief, taking the words right out of my mouth, well mind.

"Your Valentina?" Jace hissed pushing me back when I tried to go to Blake.
