† Chapter Fourteen

          Who ever knew that me, Jasper the amazing, was ever going to go to prom. And this time with a guy by my side. No one, that's who. I have many reasons why I detest proms so much. One is because girls become drastically wild. Another one is because I'm exaggeratedly shy when it comes to people staring at me. It's just one trait I got from my father, we are both shy with our significant other.

          Adam is something alright, never in a million years would I think that I'd have the perfect boyfriend. He is perfect indeed, he's beautiful, gorgeous and a vampire. We share something dark in common and we turn it into light. We are two different people but still the same in so many ways.

          My power is something that you would wish for then regret it later. Except I never wished for it. I'm just one of thousands. Only one can live at a time, once I die another shall reborn. It's like a cycle. None stop re-birthing.

          This proves that there is no way for me to live forever, I won't be with Adam till the end of time. And that is a wish that I would never regret.

          Nevertheless, I must enjoy life while I still have it. Nothing will stop me from going after what I want. And that is a life with Adam. I have found a person that I can honestly be with. I didn't expect to be with someone in this old town of mine. And now I was proved wrong! I have someone.

          And that someone won't stop tapping the back of my head!

          "Stop it!" I punched Adam on his shoulder. He just suddenly became annoying, or hes teasing me. Which ever it is, I want it to stop! Do you have any idea how irritating it is to be tapped by a vampire? Their fingers are like bullets. Ten times the irritation.

          "I love you." He muttered as he walked behind me.

          "I just don't get you two honestly." My mom sighed and rubbed her temples.

          "Mom!" I whined. "Make him stop!"

          "Guys please behave." She said as we entered the store, a store none other than for prom occasions. I hate shopping, that's another thing I hate about prom, shopping for clothes.

          We walked in and my mom gasped at the many tuxedos. I think she was having a teenage moment. I remember she used to tell me how she would pick out my dad's clothes all the time. Specially on prom. We have way too many proms. But this is my last prom so I guess we should make it special.

          Even though inside I want to burn the place to the ground. They are lucky that I only control earth.

          Both Adam and mom were bonding really well, no surprise, they were best friends. And only he knows that, she still thinks Adam is the son of her old best friend. It's kind of sad really. Still creeps me out to a whole other level.

          They were both picking for me, Adam always has clothes. I honestly wanted to die right now. I'd just call out to the earth and make one of my dead friends pull me into the underworld. But I'd die again if there are shopping malls down there.

          I sat down on the soft seats in the middle of this shop. We were in town, this is just a local shop. It's actually very expensive and I don't know why they wouldn't take this shop inside the mall rather than no where.
