She was completely silent and unresponsive, resembling a living corpse with no signs of life except for breathing.

They were taking her away from me.

Amrit opened the door of the car and made her sit.

I walked forward to stop them but Manheer held my wrist.

"Jaan do veer ji. Please. I know you love her alot but- maybe this is the end.

Whatever you guys had, was very precious and cannot be compared to anything.

And, think of it as a precious gift. And cherish it forever.

But it's just, somethings are not meant to be forever.

If a phase of your life was good, doesn't mean it will remain forever. Good or bad, phases are meant to end one day.

Please be in control veer ji." She said and hugged me.

"Anaya told me about you two, trust me you both love each other alot but, maybe fate just wanted something else."

I hugged Manu back while my eyes were stuck on Anaya who was sitting in car.

Amrit came towards us.

"I want to bang your head-" Amrit's words halted when he saw Manheer glaring at him.

He took a breath and stepped forward.

"Listen Shubh, you saved her, so I am letting go the fact you didn't tell me a single thing. And I we are equal here." He said and held Manheer's hand and started to walk away.

"Amrit stop!" Manheer said and he did.

"I'm not gonna go back with you."

"What? Why!?"

"Please Amrit, I want to stay with veer ji."

"No you wont" Amrit declared and started to take her along when my eyes shifted from Anaya to them.

I held Amrit's hand instantly and removed his hand from my sister.

"She said 'no' Amrit" I said calmly.

"She is my wife."

"Doesn't change the fact that she said 'no'."

"Amrit please let me stay." Manheer said in a very soft voice.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath while his face had the expressions of anger.

He glared at me but his gaze became soft when he looked at Manu.

He cupped her face and kissed on her forehead.

"I'll take care of Sahaaye. Please come back soon."

She held his hand that was on her face and said,"I will. Take care of yourself and Anaya."

He nodded and went towards the car.

Manheer looked at me and hugged me tightly.

And I was just looking at the car.

And for the very first time, a tear left my eye.

Seeing her go away from me...

And I couldn't do anything.
