Y/n's POV

All the way to Cannibal Town, Charlie was arguing with herself about why Vaggie had never told her she was an angel. At first I involved myself and tried to talk to her but Charlie was still too upset to listen. I raked my arm into Alastors and rested my head on his shoulder as we walked while my niece continued to chatter next to me. "She's so tiring." I whispered, barely audible, making Alastor giggle. He was also a little annoyed with Charlie. "Three years! Three years I've been sharing my life with her and I tell her everything." she started again and I lifted my head from Alastor's shoulder again. "My hopes, my dreams, my insecurities, my embarrassing habits." Alastor next to me breathed on his monocle to make it shine again. I smiled a little amused at that and looked forward again where the first cannibals came into my field of vision. "What fucking deodorant I like. And she keeps something like this from me. Why would she lie for so long? Does she think I wouldn't accept her? What about me, ME, says un understanding. Misunderstanding? Disunder-- Wait w-where are we?" Charlie asked confused, stopping her rambling. Alastor stood in front of the city sign and presented himself to us. "Cannibal Town!! There's a friend of Y/n and I and we think you should meet." Alastor grinned and reached out to Charlie. Together we went into the large building where a long line of cannibals were queuing to discuss their problems with Rosie. "Well, who hasn't thought about eating her first husband? I certainly would have if he didn't taste so bad!" you could hear her laughing from far away. I placed my hands on Charlie's shoulders from behind and held my head right next to hers. "If anyone can help us against the angels, it's Rosie and her cannibals. All you have to do is please her and we'll have it." I winked and patted the blonde on the back with a grin. "Oh my stars. Do my eyes deceive me? Alastor? Alastor!" Rosie shouted, squeezing through the crowd. "Where have you been?" she asked happily to Alastor. "These halls really lost some of their sparkle without your lively presence and-" she turned it in a circle before she saw me. "Y/n! Darling, sweetie, how are you!" she asked quickly giving me a hug. "fine and you?" "Thank you, darling! Have you two found each other again? Oh, you're so lovely!" I grinned at this lady in front of me. Listening to her was just pure entertainment, you could really tell she was a businesswoman. "Oh well, who did you two bring me here? Come on you two, she's way to young for a threesome relationship! Hah, I'm just kidding." laughed Rosie and I put my arm on Charlie's shoulder in amusement. "Rosie, this is Charlie, my niece. And Charlie." I turned to the blonde and pointed to Rosie. "That's Rosie!" Alastor now came to us and also put his arm around Charlie. Now she was sandwiched between us. "The most darling, delightful and dangerous Overlord this side of the pentagram." Alastor introduced her which made my eye twitch a bit. Of course Rosie was a sweetheart but hearing Alastor say something like that to another woman felt like shit. "Oh stop it Alastor we don't want to make our little Y/n jealous!" "He doesn't do anything, such a nonsense!" I squeezed out which made him raise an eyebrow with a grin. "Whatever! Charlie is the daughter of Lucifer and heir to the throne of Hell." I meant to introduce Charlie again so that Rosie now knew more precisely who Charlie was. The blonde in my arms grinned uncomfortably and Rosie staggered slightly. "How do you do?" she asked, giggling a bit tensely. "Well well, isn't this a regal surprise? Come in, come in." Rosie pulled Charlie with her and me and Alastor followed behind. "Most darling, delightful and dangerous hm?" I began a little quieter to Alastor. "Come down, it's all part of the plan sweetie." He grinned with a straight look, not even looking down to me. I grimaced a little but then didn't pay him any further attention. "Can I offer you something to eat? I'm sure I have a leg around here or something." The lady murmured and rummaged around in her table. "Oh what am I thinking? Small thing, like you. You're probably watching your figure. How about some nice pinky fingers instead?" she held out a box full of finger to Charlie. I looked at my niece with amusement. "Ummm. no. no thank you though." chuckled Charlie, waving away the chocolates. Rosie tucked her fingers back into place before grinning at us and patting Charlie's head. "Oh look at you so polite! Y/n make sure Alastor takes a few slices of your niece." She admonished me which made me laugh. "Will be done." winked and Rosie pushed Charlie in a chair before she sat in one too. "Tell Auntie Rosie what she can do for you." Rosie said and staggered Alastor to her. He went over and bent down a little towards the lady. I leaned next to the chair, a little annoyed. I know that Alastor and I aren't in a relationship, but it upsets me that he gets so close to Rosie. He did this on purpose because he knows I'll get jealous. They whispered around a bit before Alastor moved away from her again and stood next to me. "I appreciate the offer but we're here in business of another kind." he said and supported himself on my head. "Well don't keep me in surprise. I'm a very busy woman." Rosie informed us and poured herself some tea before picking up the cup. "Well as you know.." Charlie started and looked up at us briefly. " The extermination is coming early. It'll be here in a month. And they're coming for my hotel and my friends frist. And I,I,I,I,I." "We need your help." Alastor spoke for her and let go of my head. "Well your cannibals help at least to fend off the attack." Rosie put down her cup. "Wow! When you ask a favor, you don't start small, do you, Your Highness?" Rosie grinned at Charlie, who then looked uncomfortably to the side. "Oh, now, don't fret. I didn't say I wouldn't help but I assume there's more to this plan than a bunch if unarmed cannibals." "Oh your people will be far from helpless when we're done with them." Alastor began. "And by the end they will be able to eat their fill." I grinned moving my face closer to Rosie's. She grinned temptingly. "Well in that case, sure. Why not?" "Really?" Charlie asked in disbelief and was amazed that the lady wanted to help us. "What can I say? I like your moxie, girl. And Y/n and old Alastor never done me wrong before." she smiled proudly at us. Charlie was childishly happy and looked up at the lady. "Oh. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you." I pulled Charlie a little closer to me and giggled a little. "I think Rosie got it." I grinned and Charlie smiled happily up at me before nodding. We walked out of the large building together and Rosie went forward with Charlie to discuss how they could convince everyone to stay at the hotel. I narrowed my eyes at Alastor. He looked down at me with a raised eyebrow. "Stop it!" I complained. "Stop what my little favorite?" he grinned. "little favorite my ass! Stop making me jealous, you asshole!" I complained which made him laugh. He looked down at me innocently which made me grit my teeth. "So? I'm making you jealous?" he asked astonished and unsuspecting. I pointed my finger at him in annoyance. "Stop this hypocritical behavior!" "I don't know what you're talking about Darling." He shrugged his shoulders amused and we caught up with the others. "Shouldn't be a problem. Its not like you've ever failed to inspire before." Alastor encouraged Charlie but I had no idea what they were talking about so I just nodded in agreement with Alastor's statement to Charlie. We went up to a small arbor to make the announcement. I leaned against the railing of the arbor and continued to just listen. "And there's one in particular-" Alastor joined me with an annoyed look at the person Rosie was referring to. "Ugh Susan." He said and let his ears fall back in annoyance. "Naww how cute." I remarked childishly, patting his ears in fascination. I remember when Sir Pentious' Eggs asked Alastor if his hair were his ears. I guess they were right. "Susan." Rosie said in agreement. "who's a bit of an... uh..." Rosie tried to find the right words when Alastor disappeared next to me only to reappear next to Charlie. "Ornery old bitch?" I looked at him in surprise. Alastor's insult count has increased to 2. I thought to myself amused. "That.. She's tough, but win her over and the rest will be easy as pie." Rosie told Charlie at the end before we left her alone to the attention. Just before she started speaking I got a call. I looked at the phone confused and recognized Vox's name. Alastor also looked at my phone and nodded at me as a sign that I could leave. I nodded and distanced myself from everyone so I could record the phone call. "Sup' sweety." I winked at him and he grinned. Vox was probably in his surveillance basement because there were computers everywhere in the background. "Not much. I wanted to ask if you have any plans for the day of extermination." he grinned at me through the phone. I thought for a moment. "I'd have to ask." I thought in my head which made him look confused. "Who do you have to ask?" he asked confused. I looked at him caught and quickly looked for an excuse. "Well, I have to ask my niece if she has anything planned with her little friends at the hotel." I grinned amused at Vox. "Niece?" he asked even more confused. "Didn't Valentino tell you about Charlie?" "Nonsense, what are you talking about? You're the Aunt of Lucifer's daughter and I don't know anything about it? So you're also Lucifers sister." he laughed a little offended and I nodded with mock arrogance. "You don't always have to know everything." I laughed, which made him laugh too. "Well then ask your little nieces Permission and let me know." He grinned teasingly, which made me roll my eyes. "Yeah, I'll do it then." I answered and hung up so I could go back to the others. However, I only found Alastor on the platform, which was quite fitting. "Where are the other two?" I asked, resting my hands on my hips. He looked over at me with a grin. "Charlie got a little strong on words and insulted Susan." he laughed and I saw him surprised. "Really?" I laughed a little. "Mhm.. But tell me, what did my flat-faced friend want from you, hmm?" he asked me putting his hands around my parts to pull me closer to him. "He asked me what i do on the day of extermination." I answered and he thought about it. "Go to him." He said which made me look confused. "But what about you? I wanted to help you fight the angels." I pouted, looking away a little disappointed. I don't like thinking about how my loved ones might get hurt while I'm relaxing with other people. I felt Alastor's hand on my chin, which made me look up at him. "Don't worry, I'll take care of every single person who ever dared to hurt you." he grinned, getting angry at the thought. You could hear it in his voice as well as his ears folding back. "Oh yeah? Even though you stabbed me with the knife?" I asked mischievously. He rolled his eyes. "I was still a... What do you call it? A little helpless human. I had no idea that you were an angel and I couldn't kill you." he grinned with a slightly annoyed tone. "Reassuring." I said which made him laugh. "And I'm glad I didn't know." He mumbled before the others arrived and I stood there with slightly red cheeks. He had never said anything so sweet. I shook my head quickly to regain my senses. Alastor handed Charlie his microphone and let her do her thing. She started singing and even managed to convince all the cannibals. Even this Susan seemed to like it and they marched off. Susan and Alastor started dancing and I looked down at the two of them from the top. But I didn't look at them jealously, but rather with a loving smile. I knew that Alastor wasn't actually interested in anyone the way he was interested in me. It's amazing how he confided in me and Rosie would never cheat on a friend of hers. "I concur!" Rosie sang pulling Alastor towards her winking before Alastor pulled me between Rosie and him. "Stick with her. You'll be on the winning side!" Everyone says and Alastor presses a kiss on my cheek. With the entire team we went back to the hotel where Vaggie came with many boxes full of weapons and greetings. She had wings sticking out of her which made me smile. I was happy that she was able to get hers back. Unfortunately, mine couldn't do it because unlike Vaggie's, my wings were cut off and not torn out. It's impossible that I could grow them back again. I felt a little sad about the fact, but Alastor's arm wrapped around me lightly. "It's Okay."
