Different World // Nayeon X reader

Chapter 30

When Y/N woke up in the morning, the first thing she did is call Nayeon. 

"How's your trip in Japan?" Nayeon asked on the phone.

"It's fine, it's a difficult case but we'll manage." Y/N badly wants to tell Nayeon the real reason why she's here in the first place but she can't because of her promise. Once she knows who Seoyoon is, she will tell Nayeon immediately.

"I miss you already."

"I miss you too. Just a few more days. Can you do that for me?" Y/N smiled to herself.

"I guess I can." The older woman sighed.

"How about you? You're working today?"

"Yeah, I gotta leave in about an hour. I have a pretty long shift today. "

"Call me when you get home, okay?"

"I will, Y/N-ah. Take care of yourself."

"You take care too. I'll talk to you later." Y/N smiled and hung up. She and Mingyu both got ready and Tzuyu joined them in their room to talk about how they're going to handle things.

"I think it will take a long time to figure out who Seoyoon is. I mean even if we talk to them and keep an eye on them there's no way we will find anything." Mingyu sighed.

"Yeah, we don't even know if they remember what happened to them back then. What if they forgot everything? Then we won't be able to figure it out." Tzuyu added.

"I thought about that too." Y/N nodded. "We don't have much time so we're going to have to do a DNA test."

"And how are we going to do that? We can't just walk up to them and ask for their DNA and we don't have Nayeon's or her parents with us." Mingyu questioned.

"I have DNA samples of both Nayeon and her dad. As for the Hirai sisters, we're going to get their DNA in secret. Without them noticing. That's our mission for today. We need hair, saliva or blood. It'll be hard to get it, but we have to get it by tonight. Once I get the DNA, I will fly back to Korea. I have a friend who deals with DNA analysis so I will ask her to do the test as fast as she can. I will try to come back here by morning." 

"This is really an impossible task." Tzuyu shook her head.

"Just follow my lead. We have to do this if we want to find her. Now the two of us have to go. They're waiting for us for breakfast. Oppa, can you try to find out in which rooms they stay?"

"Yeah, I will." Mingyu answered. Y/N and Tzuyu went downstairs and were met with Sana and Momo in the lobby.

"Hello. I'm sorry if we made you wait." Y/N said in Japanese.

"It's okay, we just got here." Momo replied. "Shall we go then?" She asked and they both nodded even though Tzuyu didn't really understand what Momo said but by Momo's gestures she could somehow guess.

The four walked to a near fancy restaurant that serves great breakfast. It's clear as ice that this restaurant is very expensive. 

"We could also just have eaten breakfast at the hotel but since you're special guests we wanted to treat you here." Momo smiled.

"I think you will have to translate for Tzuyu-chan, she looks confused." Sana suggested and Y/N translated for her. The four ordered and started to eat. Momo mostly spoke about the company and business. She was particularly talking to Tzuyu most of the time since she's the daughter of the family they want to get close to and Y/N had to translate everything.

"Can you stop talking about work? Y/N-chan and I are getting bored here." Sana complained to her sister and Momo looked at her with angry eyes. 

"It's okay for me. I know why we're all here in the first place. It's all work related so I don't mind translating. That's the reason why I'm here antways to translate for Tzuyu." Y/N smiled.
