"You're back already? How did the date go?" Dahyun asked when Y/N walked into their apartment.

"Horrible." Y/N answered with one word.

"Wait what? What happened?" Tzuyu joined. "We were really sure that you guys would have a good time."

"Well we did until she became very rude when I told her I'm a cop." Y/N sighed. Both Dahyun and Tzuyu looked confused.

"Can you tell us everything from the very beginning?" Dahyun asked.

"Well when I arrived she was already there. My first thought was that she looks beautiful, you can say that she's my type looks wise. We sat down and had a nice conversation, there was some flirting here and there and we did joke a little bit as well. So it was going great actually, our vibes were matching but then I told her that i'm a cop and she pretty much humiliated me and looked down on my job saying that I'm useless and that cops can't do anything right."

"She did? That's a weird thing to do on a first date. It's not like you're a prostitute. Why would she say something like that?" Tzuyu furrowed her eyebrows.

"I got confused but managed to stay calm however she kept going and of course I defended myself. The more I defended myself the more she came at me. Eventually she stood up and left."

"What does she do for a living?" Dahyun asked.

"She works at a convenience store."

"She works at a convenience store and looked down on a cop? That's weird." Tzuyu chuckled finding it a bit funny. Y/N is actually very proud to be a cop so hearing someone say these things to her must have hurt her pride.

"Seems like it didn't go really well but it's okay, we can just set you up on another date!" Dahyun got excited again.

"No way that I'm going on another date again." Y/N shook her head.

"Oh c'mon, one bad experience doesn't mean that they will all be bad experiences."

"I'm not going to let myself get humiliated again. It was a horrible experience and I don't want to experience that again. Besides I already told you that I'm not ready for dating, stop pushing me into it." Y/N got upset and left the two girls and went to her room.

"We should have looked more before setting her up with someone." Dahyun sighed.

"We couldn't know that that woman is a cop hater. Looks wise she's perfect for Y/N unnie, but personality wise I guess she isn't." Tzuyu added.

"It's a bit funny though. I've never seen Y/N get frustrated like this. It seems like Nayeon really hurt her pride."

"Well Y/N unnie's job is her life, so naturally she'll get mad if someone offends her job."

"What do we do now? I mean we can't set her up on another date. She will definitely not go but we can't let her go on like this either." Dahyun questioned.

"We just gotta let her be. Ever since she broke up with Minji unnie, she's been like this. She's clearly not over her yet, but I believe that once she is past all of that, she'll come out of her shell again." Tzuyu hoped.

"How can she get over her when she sees her everyday? They have to work together on multiple occassions."

"Maybe she'll meet someone herself, I don't know. Let's just let her be for now." Tzuyu suggested to which Dahyun agreed.

The next day Y/N went to work with a frown on her face which didn't go unnoticed by Jihyo and Mingyu. Usually Y/N has a neutral expression on her face, sometimes she smiles as well. However today she seems to be in a bad mood.

"What's with that face?" Jihyo asked when Y/N sat down at her desk. "I heard you were extra early today. Something happened?"

"No." Y/N simply answered not wanting to talk about it. She's still bothered by Nayeon's words last night.

"You can't be like this and not tell us. C'mon." Mingyu encouraged.

"I went on a date last night."

"Wait, what?" Both Jihyo and Mingyu said at the same time.

"You went on a date??" Jihyo smiled widely as she put both her hands on the table.

"Yeah, why's that so surprising?"

"Because you haven't even looked at anyone ever since..." Mingyu went closer to the both of them and whispered. "Minji sunbaenim."

"Yah, don't say that out loud!" Jihyo scolded as she hit his arm.

"I didn't say it out loud, I whispered it." Mingyu defended rubbing his arm.

"It didn't go well I'm guessing from the look on your face?" Jihyo asked. Seems like she got excited for nothing.

Y/N doesn't really want to tell them what happened because Mingyu and Jihyo will surely get mad. They have even more pride in their job than Y/N has so if they hear that Y/N's date humiliated their jobs then they will freak out.

"Just tell us what happened." Jihyo demanded.

"It's better if I don't. You guys won't like it."

"Now you have to tell us." Mingyu smirked. The two kept bothering Y/N until she told them what happened and as expected they got mad.

"Yah who is she to say those things to you? She works as a cashier at a convenience store and has the guts to talk to you like that?" Jihyo yelled not believing her ears.

"Maybe she's a criminal and that's why she hates cops?" The guy guessed.

"I don't think so. A criminal won't hate cops this openly. Maybe she just had a bad experience with the police before? I don't know. I was really confused." Y/N sighed.

"Just never go on a date with her again. It's better to stay single." Jihyo warned. She got excited hearing that Y/N went on a date but now she actually hopes for Y/N to never see that woman again.

"I won't." Y/N assured. "I don't even have her number or anything."

"Let's just forget about it." Mingyu interrupted. "Before I forget to ask. Y/N-ah, we're going out for dinner after work, are you in?"

"Don't you dare say no Park Y/N, you always say no." Jihyo warned.

"I can't unnie, I'm sorry. I'm going to visit my parents this weekend. I haven't visited them in a while. Besides I really want to see my little nephew."

"Oh yeah your brother has a son right? How old is he now?" Mingyu asked.

"He'll be one year old next month. Time really flies. I barely got to even see him that much because of work." Y/N's family consists of her parents, her and her two older brothers. The oldest brother is 30 years old and is married and has a son while the younger brother is 27 years old and is engaged. Growing up with two older brothers who were not that far from her age, really had its impact. She always hung out with boys when she was younger and she never got to do girly things. She always joined her brothers to wherever they were going and whatever they were playing. You can say that's why she became tough enough to become a female cop in a society that looks down on women having a job like this.
