HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Wow, can you believe how fast time passed by? Just a few moments ago, I read TGCF and fell inlove with it and now I'm writing a reaction story for it! Well, enough of the reminiscing. Since we ended Christmas with a chapter, isn't it correct to start the year with a chapter? Hahahaha~ ^^ I hope you all have a great year!
Q&A: How did you encounter TGCF? Mine was a funny one. I was just watching reaction videos (Unfortunately, I don't remember which fandom it was T-T) and came across an MDZS video. Curious, I watched it and immediately got hooked which led me to MXTX to where I am now with TGCF.
Ch.106: Three Gods One Ghost; Reverend Nowhere in Sight 2
"It messed with the array but didn't show up?" Ling Wen was surprised. "How weird."
"Is it waiting for an opportunity to catch Qing Xuan alone?" Wu Du frowned.
"Possible," many agreed.
"It dodged in to tamper with the array the moment we left Puqi Shrine?" Shi Qingxuan said, but immediately debunked his own theory, "No! It can't have."
Xie Lian said too, "That's impossible. We had already pushed the door open earlier, so even if it snuck in to meddle with things we should've still arrived at our original destination because the spell of the array was already initiated, so changing it wouldn't have done anything. So, it only had a split second time to do anything."
"So there's a traitor among them?" Pei Ming couldn't believe it. Xie Lian would never betray Qing Xuan and so Hua Cheng wouldn't do anything to Qing Xuan because the crimson rain was loyal to the prince. Besides, the crimson rain had never met Qing Xuan until just recently and both has never really had any bad blood between them. And don't get him started on the earth master who was obviously soft for the wind master.
He would never betray her!
Which meant it was the brief moment after Ming Yi finished drawing the array, Shi Qingxuan blew out the candles, and the entire Puqi Shrine fell into complete darkness. However, that contradicted Xie Lian's own theory earlier.
Shi Qingxuan said, "But earlier in the shrine there were clearly only the four of us."
In the tiny Puqi shrine, there were three heavenly officials and one ghost king; if there was anything extra would they not notice? And if it was someone amongst them meddling in the darkness, who's the one who was more likely to do it?
"It is impossible for something to escape the sense of three officials and one ghost king," many agreed.
"Then what's happening?" Qianqiu was confused and worried for his guoshi.
