"Turn it on immediately," Wu Du demanded.
"Geez, why are you so grumpy?" Pei Ming wondered with a raised brow.
"Have you forgotten where we stopped?" Ling Wen asked.
"Where we...ah, oh," Pei Ming remembered and stayed silent before patting Wu Du's shoulder. "Don't worry, I'm sure Qing Xuan will survive."
Ch.103: Venerable of Empty Words; Mourning at the Feast
Qing Xuan slightly paled at the title while Wu Du clenched his fists, trying to maintain his poker face.
He Xuan smirked at the sight of Wu Du's uncomfortable expression but it fell when he saw Qin Xuan's. Releasing a sigh, he looked away.
It was sad but he will never regret the plan he created for hundreds of years.
He will never.

Right?
"How is it?" Xie Lian asked.
Xie Lian tried hiding it but many saw his hopeful look and felt bad. After all, they saw the food he offered to the two officials and it did not look...appetizing at best and edible at worst.
Many shot the two officials sympathetic looks.
THUD! And Ming Yi collapsed onto the altar table face down, as if she lost consciousness. Next to her, two lines of tears silently streamed down Shi Qingxuan's face.
"..."
"You killed them!" Qi Rong laughed. "HAHAHAHAHHAHA!"
Xie Lian let out a sigh filled with sadness, "I guess that one is also a failure."
"D-don't worry, your highness, I'm sure you will improve in the future! You just need more practice!" Qing Xuan reassured with a smile although he looked slightly pale. "Right, Crimson Rain?"
"Indeed, Gege," Hua Cheng smiled.
Xie Lian asked hesitantly, "My lords, how is it exactly? Will you pull yourselves together and give me some constructive criticism using words?"
"Can they even talk?" Yizhen asked.
"Of course they can," although he said that, Qian Qiu did not look convinced.
"They can't," Yin Yu mumbled. "They look deader than some ghosts in the city."
He was fortunate no one heard him.
Shi Qingxuan snapped out of it, wiped a face full of tears and clutched Xie Lian's hands, pressing down with force, and said unintelligibly, "...Your Highness."
Xie Lian reversed the hold and clutched his hands back, "What?"
Shi Qingxuan was tongue-tied, unable to speak, and a moment later, he sobbed as he pushed Ming Yi, "Ming-xiong... Ming-xiong! Ming-xiong, what's wrong? Pull yourself together, wake up!"
