Fifty Four

The first day of their vacation started with a schedule flight going back to their chosen destination. The Japanese girls plane already landed at  Japan four hours ago while Tzuyu is flying back to Taiwan in less than an hour. Meanwhile, the Korean girls are also going to Dahyun's vacation house in Jeju except for the Cub who's still waiting for her afternoon flight to Japan. The heiress is anxious about meeting his father again. Also, the chance of her getting caught by the Japanese girls makes her more anxious since she didn't tell them about the changes in her destination.

Mina's POV

It's been four hours since I came home. I'm happy that my parents welcomed me even though they are busy with their business. We are now having tea time when my mom suddenly mentioned a party that we will be attending the day after tomorrow.

Honey, I know you are tired but I need you to come with me to find you a dress. Mom said.

Why? I asked her.

We will be attending a business party with Kenji's family. She explained while smiling at me.

Oh! Can I pass? I went here for a vacation mom. I whined.

This is an important business party Mina. It's an opportunity for you to meet other businessmen around the world. My Dad butts in.

Your Dad is right. And, we can meet your Dad's business partners. My mom added.

But- I'm not..

I was going to reason out but my dad cutted me off. Ugh.

I won't accept refusal from you! It's about time that you focus more on business than your idol career. Dad exclaimed.

I just sigh and nodded. I guess I don't have any voice in this house anymore. This life sucks except for being with the girls and our fans and of course my love Chaengie. She's the best gift God gave me in my life. I'm not exaggerating it. She's really the best for me. She's been my source of strength and happiness since the time I  had the opportunity to be an idol rather than managing my parents business. If I'm just like those ungrateful child, I think I can support myself now from the earnings I had but I'm not like them. I can still tolerate what my parents want me to do except the time they will cross the line.

Mina! Are you listening? My Dad asked me.

I'm sorry. I'm spacing out for awhile. What is it again Dad? I asked.

Tsk. I said since you are here, you should spend time with Kenji's family. My Dad uttered.

Ugh. Why do I have to? Why do they need me to involve myself in their doings? More patience Mina. I look at him uninterested. I hope my Dad gets what I want to show.

I'll just rest.  Call me mom when it's about time we go. I said as I stood out preparing myself to walk away from where my parents are.

Son Chaeyoung's POV

We are now in the hotel I and Yeon booked. Woah! It's really huge and classy. He told me that the business party will happen in this hotel so it's better we'll book here even though it's expensive. Well, as far as everyone don't know. I don't spend my money on unnecessary things because I work hard for it and I made an exception for this place. After checking in, I and Yeon went on our respective suites to comfortably take a good rest. Of course, I didn't contact Mina yet since she'll definitely think I'm not in America, right now.

One day to go and everything will fall in its right place. All I need to do is to be with her when everything falls apart.

On the other hand, Mr. Son make sure to use well what her daughter childhood best friend planned in his benefit. He didn't regret asking Yeonjun to get Chaeyoung since he knows how obsessed Yeonjun is with her.

Sir, Mr. Choi and Ms. Katarina wants to meet you. Secretary Kang said.

Okay. Let them attend the party. We will talk after. He said and motioned secretary Kang go outside his suite.

And, its confirm that Mr. Choi used another investment funds from us to support Tanaka's business. Secretary Kang added.

As expected of him. Just make sure to follow everything he do. Mr. Son shortly replied.

As usual Mina invited her two Japanese friends to accompany her attending the business party.

Wow! This party must be really expensive? Sana commented.

I think so. As far as I heard from my parents, businessesmen around the world are going to attend. Mina explained.

And, there's no media here. I think this party is confidential one. Maybe lots of business owners doesn't want to be publicly known. Sana added.

The two are oblivious that Momo's been busy figuring out something about a man who looks familiar with her.

Why do he look like someone I know?! Chaeyoung's appa?! But- wait!! Don't tell me it's Chaengie's real father?! That's impossible. Maybe a relative right?!  But he does look like the male version of Chaeng. He really do. Momo's had been battling in her mind who's the man he saw when she excused herself for using restroom.

Momoring~? Are you listening? Sana asked.

Momo looked at the two with anxious expression.

No? I mean yes. What is it? She asked.

Geez. You're not! What's the problem? Sana worriedly asked.

No-thing. I'm just hungry. So, what did you said? She asked.

Tsk. I said Mitang~ is wearing a semi wedding dress. She looks like princess! Sana exclaimed.

Yeah. You're right. You look pretty Mitang~ She lovingly commented.

Thanks but I'm really uncomfortable right now. I'm the only one wearing like this and I'm not fond of gaining attention. Mina whined.

You look so pretty and classy with your suit Chaeyoungah. Yeon lovingly commented.

Really? I'm not used to it though. Are we running late? I asked him.

Yes. Maybe the other guess are already there. No need to worry because we are there just to witness the last part. Yeon answered.

Huh? What are you saying? I asked him.

I mean. We are there to meet your father nothing else. Yeon reasoned out.

Okay? So, is he there already? I asked him.

Yes. Secretary Kang confirmed they are now in the venue. Yeon answered.

Hey. Are you ready? Yeon worriedly asked me.

To be honest I'm scared right now.. I nervously answered him.

Don't worry. You have me. I'm here beside you. Yeon said lovingly smiling at me while caressing my hair.

I know. Thank you. I said while hugging him.

I heard him giggled.

I really missed this Chaeyoungah. The way you hugged me tightly when you are afraid. It brings back memories. He said while hugging me back.

I realesed my hands hugging him. Minari will kill me if she know about this.

That's it? He asked me.

What? I'm confusingly asked him.

What about my kiss? You used to kiss me in my cheeks. He teasingly said with closed eyes while grinning at me.

No! Let's go!  I said as I quickly walk away from him and left my room.

Wait for me!!  I heard him yelling while following me.
