Nineteen

Mina's POV

Jihyo chatted with us to go home early so we could celebrate our departure together. I'm happy that we can finally be together before our debut.

Uhm. Why is it quiet? Momo asked.

I thought we would have a party? Sana asked.

I scan the living room but no one is there except for the unfinished alcohol drinks.

I think they are in the kitchen. Momo said.

We walked to reach the Kitchen only to see the maknaes. Tzuyu looked at us then to the other two. Dahyun is leaning her body in the cabinet while Chaeyoung rests her head on the table.

Hey! Why didn't you wait for us?  Sana asked.

Tzuyu just faintly smiled.

Something wrong? I asked her.

Where's the other? Momo asked.

Hey. What happened? Did they drink this? Sana asked.

Oh my god! That's too much for them. Momo raised her voice.

Chaeyoung flinched. She slowly lift her head and look in our direction. Wait! Did she cried?! Who made her cry like this?

Cub? Are you okay? Who hurt you? Why your eyes are red? Who made you cry? Momo panicked.

Chaeyoung tried her best to stand up.  She slowly walk towards us. Tzuyu following her.

She hugged Momo tightly.

Good luck to your debut Momonie.. she cupped Momo's face and kiss her forehead.

I hear Momo giggle.

How about me? Sana pouted.

Chaeyoung walked towards Sana. She hugged her tightly.

Good luck to your debut Sana Unnie. She cupped Sana's face and kiss her forehead and Sana also kissed her forehead.

She looked at me and slowly walks towards my direction.

She hugged me tightly.
I miss you Unnie she said.

Good luck to your debut Minari. She cupped my face and kissed my forehead.
I looked at her and she's still holding my face while showcasing her idiotic smile. We stared at each other for a minute when she slowly pull me.. wait.. wait.. what's happening.. I panicked and closed my eyes.

You are drunk Cub. Let's go. You should sleep already. I heard Tzuyu said.

I opened my eyes and saw how Tzuyu covered the cub's mouth preventing to kiss me in the lips. Chaeyoung removed her hands in my face as I saw Tzuyu drag her out of the kitchen.

What just happened? Why the hell my heart beats faster than before?

Are you okay? You look like a tomato Mitang~~ Momo teasingly asked.

That's close. Sana added.

What? I asked both of them.

We are asking what happened to you? You're still holding your chest.. Did she make your heart flutter? Momo teasingly asked again.

No! I said almost yelled.

Hey. Calm down. Someone is sleeping. Sana said while checking Dahyun.

Everything okay? I heard Jihyo shouted from the living room.

How's Chaeyoung? Oh! What happened to Dubu?! Ji asked us.

Wait. Can you tell us what happened here?  I asked Jihyo.

Let's bring Dubu first in her room and I'll tell you what happened between Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung.

She said that?! The three of us almost yelled.

Uhm. Yeah. Jihyo said.

How can she say that to our cub? Momo asked.

I know she's mad but she just insulted her. Sana added

She's lucky I'm not here or else.. I mumbled.

Or else? The three of them look at me.

Or else I might hurt her too. Mina answered.

Mitang~~ You know that hurting her isn't the answer right? Sana said.

We are family so we should not hurt each other. Jihyo said.

I know. As you said, we are family so why does she need to do that.. to insult Chaeyoung. We all know how Ji and Chaeyoung saved our asses before. She's talented.  Trying hard and doing your best is different from being a favorite. Why did she even think of that?!  I irritatedly asked.

Wow. It's the first time I hear you talk that long Unnie. Tzuyu butted in.

How is she Tzu? Why did you let them drink? Ji asked.

It's uncontrollable Unnie. Dubu initiated it. She felt insulted to what Jeongyeon Unnie said. As to the Cub, she kept on apologizing. Tzuyu said.

Jeongyeon is drunk and maybe her anxiety didn't help that much so she diverted everything to Chaeyoung. Ji defensively said.

Tzuyu just shrug.

I hope it is. Because if it was me I will never talk to Jeongyeon because of that. Momo said.

Yah! Just help me fix those two tomorrow. We'll just have that mini party tomorrow. Ji said.

What do you think Tzu? Sana asked.

It's fine. I know Chaeyoung will just say "It's alright" and apologize for the things she didn't do. But I hope she'll have the opportunity to shake Jeongyeon Unnie's brain just once. Tzuyu angrily said.

Tzu!! Jihyo scolded her.

What?! I just can't say it's okay for her to insult Chaeyoung because she's sick or drunk. I just can't. It's not okay. It will never be okay! Tzuyu irritatedly said.

Come on Tzu. We are family. Let's just fix it. It's the first time after all. Sana said.

Whatever Unnies.. I'm going to sleep now. I had a very hard time baby sitting the other two. Tzuyu said then hugged as one by one.

I visited Chaeyoung in her room.

She's sleeping soundly and looks like she's tired. I hope you'll be okay Chaengie.. Be strong. Mina Unnie is always here for you. I kissed her forehead. Thank you for wishing us good luck. In my eyes you are perfect Chaeng and will always be.
