Twenty Three

Tonight is the last day of the J-line in Korea before their flight to Japan. They spend their day having a decent rest. The other members are busy on their own while Chaeyoung also stayed at home since the day she received an ultimatum from their company's music department.

Mina's POV

I'm quite nervous since the day after tomorrow will be our debut day. Today is our rest day so all I did was to play Minecraft to ease that nervousness. I heard Momo and Sana discussing something in the living room so I decided to join them.

Hey. Mitang~ Let's watch some movies. Sana said while smiling at me.

Sure. So, what should we? Eh? Chaeng? I asked as I look to Momo then the person who's her head resting on Momo's lap.

She's sleeping. I think she's over doing it again. Momo answered while caressing the latter's hair.

What do you mean? I asked.

Ah' you didn't heard? She was given an ultimatum by the music department to write lyrics for our comeback song and her debut song. Poor cub. Sana said while shaking her head.

Eh? Why? I asked.

Come on Mitang~. As usual, the music department using this genius baby cub again. Momo irritatedly answered.

The fact that she's only given a month to do it makes it more difficult for this cub. She added.

And, she accepted it? Just like before? No complain? I asked.

Come on. Do you expect this Cub to say no? We know how much dedicated she is when it comes to us but I wish she should reject those unnecessary request the music department asking from her. Sana said.

I heard not only the music department but also the design and marketing department asking for her artworks lately . Momo added.

Eh?? So, that's why she's been busy sketching lately. I said.

Yup. Mitang~ take my place. I need to pee. Take care of my cub. Momo said.

Your cub? I asked.

Tsk. OUR cub. Happy? Momo said while rolling her eyes.

Whatever. Just Go. I'll take over. I said.

I took Momo's place and start caressing Chaeyoung's hair. She's still sleeping soundly and she's wearing earphones that explains why she's not disturbed even her stupid Unnies kept on discussing non sense things. It's been a while since I had the chance to be like this to her. I realized that when she knew I already had a boyfriend she started to distance herself from me or it's just me being delusional or we are both busy. I don't know the exact reason yet but I want to ask her about it. Honestly, out of all the members she's the first one I felt comfortable with. I mean except for Sana and Momo who's my friend since training days. I admire her a lot before. If Chaeyoung is a boy I think I want to be her girlfriend or if I was a boy I would love to have her as my girlfriend. This cub is sweet and adorable in many ways. She's pretty too. She's talented and a music genius that's why the company takes advantage of her. Tsk. Tsk.  What else? She's friendly and supportive. Oh! Her unexpected character is that she's really romantic. I remember she always gave me bouquet and gifts on my birthday. She always protects and guides me outside. She's like my little bodyguard. She's decisive too unlike me.

She's almost perfect!

I know. She's perfect Mitang~~ . Momo said.

You heard that? I asked.

What do you think? I've been here for almost two minutes and you keep on staring at her face smiling like an idiot. Momo said.

I just shrug whatever Momo just said until Sana said something.
