Akashi: wait shintaro-
Midorima: I have an idea, Seijuro.
Akashi: Tell us the idea then! Turns to face Midorima
Midorima: not yet, nanodayo.
Akashi: WHAT'S THE NEED FOR SECRETS SHINTARO-
Adira grabs Akashi by the collar and swivels him to face her.
Adira: Seijuro, let's just get this done with.
Akashi: but-
Adira: Just come on!
Akashi reluctantly faces Adira, not meeting her eyes.
Takao: Alright, I don't really know how to do this but here we go.
Takao pauses for a moment to look at Adira and Akashi then to Midorima before turning back to the two. With a shaky breath he starts.
Takao: right s-so, do you, Adira t-take Akashi to be your h-husband?
Adira: takes a deep breath yes i do.
Takao looks at Midorima out of the corner of his eye and pauses before he turns to Akashi.
Takao: A-and do you, A-akashi take Adira to be your wife?
Akashi takes a glance at Midorima before reluctantly answering.
Akashi: I do
Takao, unsure of whether to say the next part, pauses.
Midorima: sighs Takao, you have to say the last part, nanodayo.
Midorima looks sternly at him.
Takao: O-oh right, s-so, erm, A-akashi, you may k-kiss the bride.
The atmosphere gets tense, Akashi still not looking at Adira and Midorima turning away from them.
Midorima: Just get it over with Seijuro.
Akashi finally meets Adira's white eyes, feeling a sense of guilt.
Adira gives him a quick kiss, knowing Akashi was overthinking too much.
Ready to change the atmosphere, Akashi turns to Midorima.
Akashi: Okay it's done, now tell us what the plan is Shintaro.
Midorima turns back around.
Midorima: Well the way I see it, is that you're only married in words, it wasn't legally done but it's still technically a marriage.
Akashi: That's true, but wait, Takao said Adira's name not y/n's-
Takao starts to worry thinking he just messed everything up.
Momoi: Will that still work? Shouldn't it be y/n's name?
Midorima: I'm not sure, we'll have to see what happens.
Everyone looks at Adira and Akashi.
Adira manages a dry laugh: you know, i think it worked.
Adira clutches her head as she starts to get weak in her legs, she collapses but Akashi catches her.
Akashi: ADIRA!
Akashi lays her on the floor but sits her upright.
Adira gives a smile and tries to look at everyone through her partially open eyes.
Adira: I never thought i'd say this as a demon, but i'll miss u mortals, you're not as bad as we thought. Take care of y/n for me yeah?
Adira passes out momentarily after and Midorima's parents crouch down to pick her up.
