I SAT IN CLASS NOT PAYING attention to what was assigned for me to do, so wrapped up in my thoughts, my eyes staring aimlessly out the window.
"hey" i heard a deeper voice say from next to me, i frowned as i aimed my focus to beside me, there sat bruce yamada, weird he sat next to me.
"hi?" i said, he chuckled at the confusion on my face "mr white assigned us as partners" he said as he placed his book down, i looked up at the board seeing my name next to bruce's.
Before looking over at bruce's friends who were all eyeing me and him, smirks and giggles coming from them, they hit each others arms pointing at the two of us.
I raised my eyebrow at them to which one of his friends made a heart with his fingers holding it up at me and bruce, one other friend doing kissing faces. my eyes widened as i looked at bruce, he sat peacefully doing his work.
"uh bruce" i said, he looked over at me "yeah?" "your friends" i said looking over at them, bruce frowned looking in my direction "oh my fucking god" bruce mumbled before flipping the boys off.
They all giggled and hit each other out of amusement, bruce looked over at me with his lips pressed together into a line "they're immature, i sit next to any girl and they do this" he chuckled.
"it's okay" i chuckled, i watched as his eyes were glued to my cheeks when i chuckled, the same smile on his face.
"your dimples are cute" he smiled, finally looking me in the eye "thanks" i said looking down at my work, my cheeks heated up, anyone who complimented my dimples had my heart.
I heard a chuckle from beside me, looking over at bruce smiling at my red cheeks.
I got embarrassed and looked out the window again, the wind cooling me down. "hey y/n" i heard making my head turn "yeah?" i said.
"do you maybe wanna come to my game, it's tomorrow" he said, i smiled "yeah, i don't think i'm doing anything anyways" i said.
"sweet it's after school around 4" he said, i nodded "i'll be there"
