The familiar noise that came next reverberates against the machine, causing her ears to pop. The closest thing she could think of to compare it to was to the sound of a massive iceberg being cracked in half by the shifting of the earths plates.

-'Sealing entrance cut.'-

This was the part she hated the most. As the vessel quickly works to seal the cut made in the fabric of time that they'd just passed through, it requires them to remain stationary momentarily until it's fully sealed. During these few seconds it feels like the world around her is violently vibrating, with the vibrations becoming more and more powerful by the millisecond, rattling her brain and skull to the point of almost causing her to vomit before it gets interrupted-

-'Cut sealed. Proceeding to the next designated coordinates'-

The vessel thrusts forward, or maybe it's backward, or sideways. When between times there are no directions, you're just moving. The sounds of electrical currents cracking and humming surround them. The vessel lurches violently then begins to rattle all around her, causing her vision to shake and blur as the sound of electricity increases and flashes from the outside of the windows.

"Common, you tough bitch. You got this...make the next damn incision." She encourages the vessel in an uneasy, nervous whisper. The vessel lurches again as a bright burst of light and a deafening electrical pop flashes just outside of her left window, as if they'd collided with one of the endless timelines surrounding them that were speeding by outside of the vessel, faster than the speed of light. Something was wrong.

"Dammit this is taking way too long

"Dammit this is taking way too long. Computer! Status report!" She calls out above all the noise.

-'We appeared to have collided with a young, alternate timeline that didn't belong in our route of travel, therefore we were unable to account for it when mapping out our path.'-
