Bringing Jayston home for the first time was gonna be a scary thing. but I knew that Tig and I were gonna make sure we stayed on top of the whole feedings, diaper changes, and nightmares or whatever disturbed our baby boy's sleep.
Tig and I had a long talk about what we were gonna do as we headed home and we came up with a game plan of sorts.
we'd take turns getting up with Jayson and not put the whole work on just one person.
we knew that we'd have plenty of long nights from this point forth and we knew as long as we worked together then there isn't anything to fret about.
Right now we had just made it home and reality hit that this was real and Jayston is finally in this world and the whole eight in half months of waiting for him was over and he's ours to care for and love from this point forth.
Tig and I worked together from the first cry in the night before we started taking turns. and if by mistake one went more than the other we'd make up for it.
there was no quarreling about it. we got up when he cried and we tended to him with out bitching about it.
