The cave was very empty, the new living room had three green couch chairs and one couch in the middle of them, Aqualad, Robin and Kid Flash all left to try and recruit Speedy. They invited Patrick who declined. Miss Martian was sitting in the chair to the left of the couch, Superboy was on the one to the right, Patrick was laying on the couch staring at the ceiling, he looked in deep thought when Miss Martian cleared her throat causing Patrick to face her with a raised eyebrow
Miss Martian: "so Lightning Rod..."
Patrick: "(Patrick cut her off smiling) please, when we aren't in costume call me Patrick."
Miss Martian: "oh well I'm M'gann but you can call me Megan"
Patrick: (Patrick sat up) "ok, what was you question"
Megan: "well I was just curious why didn't you go with the others to recruit Speedy."
Patrick: (his smile faded and he looked down) "he and I aren't on good terms right now"
Megan: oh, well what happened?
Patrick: nothing
Suddenly the zeta tube activated and announced the three sidekicks

The three looked quite upset, Patrick had a feeling it was due to Speedy not being present.
Patrick: he said no?
Aqualad: (sigh) yes he said no
Patrick: well Red Tornado's arriving now
Their faces lightened up and they ran to the underground entrance. Superboy Miss Martian and Patrick looked at each other, Patrick sighs before getting up to follow the three, the Martian and the clone close behind.
The door opened and the air bending android levitated down as the kids went to greet the young heroes
Wally: Red Tornado!
Red Tornado: greetings, is there a reason you intercept me right outside the cave?
Kaldur: we hoped you have a mission for us.
Red Tornado: missions, are Batman's responsibility.
Robin: But it's been over a week-
Red tornado: you'll be tested soon enough... for the time, Simply enjoy each other's company
Kaldur: this team is not a social club
