Avery starts running to Y/n and hugs her.
"I thought you had work." Avery says.
"I couldn't miss your performance." Y/n says.
"Are you gonna be here after?" Avery asks.
"Yeah, we'll go get dinner." Y/n says.
Avery smiles and runs away.
I hate that Avery is gonna have to live in 2 different houses. How am I even supposed to tell her? I just can't deal with Y/n anymore. I put in all the work and she just participates. Half the time she won't even do that.
2 hours later...
"What are you gonna do for your anniversary?" Avery asks.
Y/n looks at me and we stare at each other.
"This time it's gonna be like any other day." Y/n says.
"This time?" I ask.
It's been any other day for the past 3 years.

"I'll call you tomorrow when school is over." Y/n says hugging Avery.
Avery smiles and goes upstairs.

"So you're only dating each other because you both need to make your ex jealous?" Iris asks.
