"Yeah. I think I'm gonna try The Ruby Parfait" one of the costumers said. "Make that two" the other one said. Lucy nodded. "Coming right up" she said. Lucy began to walk away. "Can I get some server too, miss?" Another customer asked. Lucy smiled. "Yes sir" she said. Lucy gasped. "Wait! What am I doing?!" She asked as she threw her notebook on the ground. "Waitressing?!" She asked. "Lucy" you said. "Yeah what?!" She asked. "You're working a job for crying out loud" you said. "Since when does waiting tables qualify as legitimate wizard work? And why do I have to wear this horrible outfit?" Lucy asked. "Not my idea" you said. "I mean I know I can rock this uniform but still" Lucy said. "Whatever" you said. Happy walked into the room. "The chef here at 8 Islands uses magic to cook all of his tasty dishes. So he thought it'd be kind of cool if the wait staff were magic users as well" Happy said. "Geez, Lucy. We agreed to take this job for you, remember?" Natsu asked as he ate the costumer's meal. You threw a tray at Natsu's face. "You shouldn't be eating the costumer's food" you said. "But throwing trays is okay?" Happy asked. "Lighten up. The uniforms aren't all that bad if you ask me" Gray said. "But you're barely even wearing one" Lucy said. "Watch it. Don't you forget that we're doing this to pay your rent" Gray said. "Ugh. Yeah I know" Lucy said. "Eh, it's cool" Gray said. "Look there" he said.

"Huh?" You asked. You saw Erza dressed in the same outfit as she walked up to a table. "I know you want something. Isn't that true? Now, tell me" she said. "Yeah, I, uh..." one of the costumers said. "We'll have uh..." another one said. "Just give us..." another one said. "Yes we'll take one of everything!" They all said. "Well now that's the spirit. I am truly grateful" Erza said. "Our pleasure ma'am!" The costumers said. Gray and Lucy sweat dropped. "That's one way to do it I guess" Gray said. "Seems to work pretty well" Lucy said. "Ah yes. The thrill of a new challenge" Erza said.

Time Skip

"Top notch job today kids" Yajima said. "Got to say, I'm most pleasantly surprised by all your hard work. You're welcome here anytime" he said. "Thank you. We've learned much from this experience" Erza said. "And what was that? You love clothes?" Happy asked. "Now I know how tried Mira must be after work" Gray said. "And how stuffed her belly must be" Natsu said. "She serves the food instead of eating it all" Lucy said. "Well that's her loss" Natsu said. "And your weight gain" Lucy said. "If I may ask you sir, what is the state of The Magic Council these days?" You asked. "Well, of course I stepped down some time ago" Yajima said. "The Magic Council?" Gray and Natsu asked. "What the heck's gotten into you two? Did you dunces forget Mr. Yajima was a member?" You asked. Gray and Natsu gasped.

"After Zieg... or wait.. was his name Zella?" Yajima asked. "You mean Jellal?" You asked. "Ah yes" Yajima said. "After he and that other interloper Ultear threw everything into disarray I parted ways with the organization" he said. "I'm not usually one for gossip, but there have been rumors going around lately that a plan to reestablish The Magic Council is in the works" Yajima said. "Our ignorance and misguided actions caused you a great deal of trouble. I am truly sorry" he said. "It's fine. They say that you stood your ground in opposition to firing the Etherion right until the very end" Erza said. "Your conviction is admirable" she said. "Politics just isn't my thing. But cooking... Whoo! Hoo! Oh boy! Ha ha! That was what I was born to do" Yajima said. "By the way, you boys listen very carefully" he said. Natsu and Gray yelped and backed away from him. "Now I except this new Council to be quite different. I will no longer be there. I took a lax attitude toward Fairy Tail's hijinks" Yajima said. "Do you understand?! Don't test their patience with your careless destruction!" He said. Natsu and Gray gulped. "No we promise we won't sir!" They said. Yajima smiled and nodded.

Time Skip

"Say hello to Maki for me, will you, huh?" Yajima asked as he waved goodbye. "Aye" Happy said. "We certainly will sir! And thanks again for the work!" You said as you waved back.
