AURORAS POV FEW MINUTES BEFORE
"Aurora!"
My eyes darted open as I gasped awake. Everything was dark. Which didn't make any sense because it was just light out. Everything hurts. My head pounds in my skull, my eyesight was blurry, my body ached. Oh sometimes I hate being human.
My suit seemed to have protected what was covered, but that what wasn't was covered in dirt and blood. "Aurora!"
The sound of someone screaming my name didn't do wonders to the pounding in my head. I was surrounded by pieces of the destroyed compound. At first I couldn't register anything. Not till Steve kneeled next to me. "My god Aurora!"
I groaned as he gently lifted me up. He caressed my face, pulling back strands of hair. "Are you okay?" I asked Steve as I rubbed my forehead.
"I think the better question is, are you okay?" He asked me with worry as he checked me over. I winced when he touched a large gash on my forehead. That and the rest explains my pounding headache. I felt something dripping and touched under my nose to feel a trail of blood. Bloody hell. "Kilorn!" Steve shouts, making me wince from the high pitch sound of his voice. "I'm okay." I tried to assure him, grabbing his arm to pull myself but I just ended up hurting myself more and nearly fell.
Steve sits me down against some of the rubble. I coughed, harshly, spitting out some blood and Steve looked even more concerned. And now, even I'm worried. "I'm here. I'm here!" Kilorn shouts before sliding next to us. Don't mean to be negative, what can he do? Kilorn goes all doctor mode for a second, doing most of the basic things. "Where the hell is your scepter?"
Does it look like I know? "Find her scepter!" Kilorn ordered. "She won't heal if she doesn't have her powers." Steve was hesitant to leave my side, he kissed me and almost didn't let go before he and Kilorn left me to sit while they scourged through the rummage of the compound.
It was hard not to keep coughing. I've never felt like this before. I mean this feels awful. Someone needs to find me a witch and enchant that scepter of mine. "I got it!" shouts Tony shouts, I looked up to see him blast some rock away and underneath that rock was my scepter. Thankfully in one piece.
Kilorn immediately takes it and rushes back over. The second I took the scepter in my hands I started feeling better. It hummed with power, power that was healing me from the inside out and filling me with energy.
"Oh thank god." Steve said with huge relief as he helped me up to my feet and embraced me. I took a deep breath, holding him tight. I can feel the beating of his heart. And to say it was beating rapidly was an understatement but he was calming down.
