AURORAS POV

"I am Groot." The tree said, breaking me out of my thoughts as I stared down at my wedding ring.

I knew what he said instantly, Translation: 'I need to tinkle.'

We were on our way to Nidavellir. We still haven't arrived yet. All I could keep thinking about was Steve. Steve, my friends. My daughter. They probably all thought Thor and I were dead. And what's worse is that I can't even call them to inform them we're alive. I hope that Steve hasn't seen that video yet.

That was a 'Honey if you're watching this that means I'm dead' kind of video. But I survived. I don't want to imagine what that video has done to him if he's already watched it.

"Tinkle in the cup. We're not looking." Rocket said from the pilot's seat. "What's there to, see? What's a twig? Everybody's seen a twig."

"I am Groot." Translation: 'But the cup is full.'

"Tree, pour what's in the cup out in space, and go in the cup again." Thor said as I stood and joined him in the back, looking out the portholes.

"You speak Groot?" Rocket asked as he turned in the chair.

I nodded. "Yeah. They taught it back home on Asgard. It was an elective."

All of Earth's languages were electives as well. I got bored at home often so I decided to just learn all of them. Since at the time no one else bothered to, I figured it would be nice to use a language no one else knows to plot pranks with Loki freely.

"I am Groot." Translation: How long 'till we get there?

I smiled at the tree, "You'll know when we're there. Nivadellir's forge harnesses the power of a blazing neutron star."

"It's the birth place of my hammer. It's truly awesome." Thor said nostalgically before sitting down sadly. I sighed, sitting down next to him and putting my hand over his in sorrow.

Rocket came over to a console near us and pressed two buttons. "So, dead brother, huh? Yeah, that can be annoying."

I sighed. "Well, he's been dead before, twice if you want to be specific but this time, we think it really might be true." There was no time to use my x-ray vision to check if it was actually his body and not some illusion. And we've long since left.

Rocket nodded, "And you said your other sister and your dad?"

"Both dead." Thor and I replied.

"Still got a mom, though?"

"Killed by a dark elf."

"A best friend?"

"Stabbed through the heart."
